حکمت ۳۳۴۱ تا ۳۳۶۰Sayings 3341 to 3360
سُكُونُ النَّفسِ إلَى الدُّنيا مِنْ أعْظَمِ الغُرُورِ.
آرامشِ جان به دنیا از بزرگ‌ترینِ فریب‌هاست.
One’s seeking tranquillity in [the delights of] this world is from the greatest deceptions.
شَرُّ المِحَنِ حُبُّ الدُّنيا.
بدترینِ محنت‌ها دوستیِ دنیاست.
The worst of tribulations is love of this world.
شَرُّ الفِتَنِ مَحَبَّةُ الدُّنيا.
بدترینِ فتنه‌ها محبتِ دنیاست.
The worst of afflictions is love for this world.
صِحَّةُ الدُنيا أسْقامٌ، ولَذّاتُها آلامٌ.
تندرستیِ دنیا بیماری‌ها و لذت‌هایش دردهاست.
The health of this world is [fraught with] sicknesses and its pleasures are [fraught with] pains.
صارَ الفُسُوقُ فِي الدُّنيا (النّاسِ) نَسَباً، والعَفافُ عَجَباً، ولُبِسَ الإسْلامُ لُبْسَ الفَرْوِ مَقْلُوباً.
فسق در دنیا [یا مردم] نسب شد و پاکدامنی شگفت و اسلام را چون پوستینِ وارونه پوشیدند.
Adultery has become the key to lineage in the world (or among the people), chastity is rare and Islam is worn the wrong way up like fur.
طَلاقُ الدُّنيْا مَهْرُ الجَنَّةِ.
طلاقِ دنیا مهرِ بهشت است.
Divorcing this world is the dowry for Paradise.
طَلَبُ الدُّنيا رَأسُ الفِتْنَةِ.
طلبِ دنیا سرآمدِ فتنه است.
Seeking this world is the primary cause of tribulation.
طالِبُ الدُّنيا بِالدّينِ مُعاقَبٌ مَذْمُوم ٌ.
خواهندهٔ دنیا با دین، کیفرشده و نکوهیده است.
The one who seeks this world through religion is chastised and condemned.
طَلَبُ الجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةِ مِنْ خِداعِ النَّفسِ.
طلبِ گردآوردنِ میانِ دنیا و آخرت از فریبِ نفس است.
Seeking to join this world with the Hereafter is from the deceptions of the self.
طالِبُ الدُّنْيا تَفُوتُه الآخِرَةُ، ويُدْرِكُهُ المَوْتُ حتّى يَأخُذَهُ بَغْتَةً (بِعُنْفِهِ)، ولا يُدْرِكُ مِنَ الدُّنْيا إلاّ ما قُسِّمَ لَهُ.
خواهندهٔ دنیا را آخرت فوت شود و مرگ دررسد تا ناگهان [یا با شدت] بستاندش و از دنیا جز آنچه برایش قسمت شده نیابد.
The seeker of this world misses [the opportunity to work for] the Hereafter and death comes to him unexpectedly, and he does not get from this world except what has been apportioned for him.
ظَفَرَ بِفَرْحَةِ البُشْرى مَنْ أعْرَضَ عَنْ زَخارِفِ الدُّنْيا.
به شادیِ مژده دست یافت آن که از زینت‌های دنیا روی گرداند.
He who turns away from the embellishments of this world gains the joy of the glad tidings [of Paradise].
عَجِبْتُ لِعامِرِ دارِ الفَناءِ، وتارِكِ دارِ البَقاءِ.
در شگفتم از آبادکنندهٔ خانهٔ فنا و رهاکنندهٔ خانهٔ بقا!
I am amazed at the one who builds his transient abode and abandons his Eternal Abode.
عَبْدُ الدُّنْيا مُؤَبَّدُ الفِتْنَةِ والبَلاءِ.
بندهٔ دنیا جاودانه در فتنه و بلاست.
The servant of this world faces continuous afflictions and calamities.
غايَةُ الدُّنْيا الفَناءُ.
غایتِ دنیا فناست.
The end of this world is annihilation.
غُرُورُ الدُّنْيا يَصْرَعُ.
فریبِ دنیا به خاک افکند.
The deception of this world strikes [a person] down.
غُرّي يا دُنيا مَنْ جَهِلَ حِيَلَكَ، وخَفِيَ عَلَيْهِ حَبائِلُ كَيْدِكَ.
فریب ده، ای دنیا، آن که حیله‌هایت را نداند و دام‌های نیرنگت بر او پنهان باشد!
World, deceive the one who is ignorant of your tricks and for whom your traps of deceit are concealed.
وقالَ ـ عليه السْلام ـ في وَصْفِ الدُّنْيا: غَرّارَةٌ، غُرُورٌ ما فيها، فانِيَةٌ فان مَنْ عَلَيْها.
در وصفِ دنیا فرمود: فریبنده است و آنچه در آن فریب است و فانیه است و آن که بر آن است.
He (‘a) said about this world: It is deceitful - that which is in it is illusory; it is perishing all that is upon it perishes.
غَرّارَةٌ، ضَـرَّارَةٌ، حائِلَةٌ، زائِلَةٌ، بائِدَةٌ، نافِدَةٌ.
فریبنده و زیان‌رسان و دگرگون و زایل و نابود و تمام‌شدنی است.
It is deceitful, harmful, volatile, evanescent, transient and perishing.
غِذاءُ الدُّنيا سِمامٌ، وأسْبابُها رِمامٌ.
خوراکِ دنیا زهرها و اسبابش پوسیده است.
The foods of this world are poisons and its means are worn-out [and weak] ropes.
