إذا رَأيْتَ رَبَّكَ يُتابِـعُ عَلَيْكَ النِّعَمَ فَاحْذَرْهُ.
چون دیدی که پروردگارت نعمت‌ها را بر تو پی در پی می‌رساند، از او بپرهیز (برحذر باش).
When you see your Lord sending continuous blessings upon you, then be careful.

حکمت ۹۸۶۱ تا ۹۸۸۰Sayings 9861 to 9880
بِعَوارِضِ الآفاتِ تَتَكَدَّرُ النِّعَمُ.
به عوارضِ آفت‌ها، نعمت‌ها کدر (تلخ) شوند.
By the befalling of calamities blessings become roiled.
رُبَّ مُنْعَم عَلَيْهِ مُسْتَدْرَج بِالنُّعْمى.
بسیار نعمت‌دیده‌ای که به نعمت (نعما) استدریج (فراخوانده) می‌شود.
Many a blessed person is gradually being driven [towards punishment] by those blessings.
زَكاةُ النِّعَمِ اِصْطِناعُ الْمَعْرُوفِ.
زکاتِ نعمت‌ها، نیکی‌کردن به دیگران (اصطناعِ معروف) است.
The alms-tax of blessings is doing good to others.
زَيْنُ النِّعَمِ صِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ.
زیورِ نعمت‌ها، پیوندِ رحم (خویشاوندان) است.
The adornment of blessings is keeping ties with [one’s] near relatives.
زَوالُ النِّعَمِ بِمَنْعِ حُقُوقِ اللّهِ مِنْها والتَّقْصِيرِ في شُكْرِها.
زوالِ نعمت‌ها، به دریغ‌کردنِ حقِّ خداوند از آن‌ها و کوتاهی در سپاسگزاریِ آن‌هاست.
The cessation of blessings is [caused] by withholding the rights of Allah from them and falling short in showing gratitude for them.
سَبَبُ زَوالِ النِّعْمَةِ اَلْكُفْرانُ.
سببِ زوالِ نعمت، ناسپاسی است.
The cause of cessation of a blessing is ingratitude.
في كُلِّ نِعْمَة أجْرٌ.
در هر نعمتی اجری هست.
In every blessing there is a reward.
كُلُّ نَعِيمِ الدُّنْيا ثُبُورٌ.
هر نعمتِ دنیا، به سوی نابودی (ثبور) است.
Every bounty of this world is [headed towards] destruction.
كُلُّ نِعْمَة أُنِيلَ مِنْها المَعْرُوفُ فَإنَّها مَأْمُونَةُ السَّلَبِ مُحَصَّنَةٌ مِنَ الغِيَـرِ.
هر نعمتی که از آن معروف (نیکی به دیگران) شده باشد، همانا از ربوده‌شدن ایمن و از دگرگونی‌ها پاسبان است.
Every blessing from which good is done [to others] is indeed safe from being taken away and is protected from vicissitudes.
كُلَّما حَسُنَتْ نِعْمَةُ الجاهِلِ إزْدادَ قُبْحاً فيها.
هر گاه نعمتِ نادان نیکو شود، زشتی‌اش در آن افزون شود.
Whenever the blessing of an ignorant person becomes good, his ugliness in it increases.
لِيُرَ عَلَيْكَ أثَرُ ما أنْعَمَ اللّهُ بِهِ عَلَيْكَ.
اثرِ آنچه را که خداوند به تو نعمت کرده، بر تو دیده شود.
Let the effect of what Allah has blessed you with be visible on you.
لَنْ يَقْدِرَ أحَدٌ أنْ يَسْتَدِيمَ النِّـعَمَ بِمِثْلِ شُكْرِها ولا يَزينَها بِمِثْلِ بَذْلِها.
هیچ‌کس قادر نیست که نعمت‌ها را به مانندِ سپاسگزاری از آن‌ها پایدار و به مانندِ بخشیدنِ آن‌ها زیبا کند.
Nothing has the ability to make blessings last like showing gratitude for them and nothing beautifies them like granting them [to others].
مَنْ عَدَّدَ نِعَمَهُ مَحَقَ كَرَمَهُ.
هر که نعمت‌هایش را بشمارد (شمارد و یادآورد)، بزرگواری‌اش را محو کرده است.
Whoever enumerates his favours [on others] effaces his munificence.
مَنِ اسْتَعانَ بِالنِّعْمَةِ عَلَى المَعْصِيَةِ فَهُوَ الكَفُورُ.
هر که به نعمت در گناه یاری بجوید، همانا ناسپاس (کفور) است.
One who takes the help of a blessing [in order] to sin is indeed an ingrate.
مَنْ كَثُرَتْ نِعَمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ كَثُرَتْ حَوائِجُ النّاسِ إلَيْهِ(فَإنْ قامَ فيها بِما أوْجَبَ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَدْ عَرَّضَها لِلدَّوامِ وإنْ مَنَعَ ما أوْجَبَ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ فيها فَقَدْ عَرَّضَها لِلزَّوالِ).
هر که نعمت‌هایِ خدا بر او فزون شود، نیازِ مردم به او فزون شود؛ پس اگر در آن به آنچه خداوند سبحان بر او واجب کرده قیام کند، آن را به ماندگاری عرضه داشته و اگر آنچه خداوند سبحان در آن واجب کرده دریغ کند، آن را به زوال عرضه داشته است.
The one upon whom the blessings of Allah are abundant, the people’s needs towards him also abound (so if he fulfils with it what Allah, the Glorified, has made obligatory for him, then he makes it last, and if he refuses what Allah, the Glorified, has made obligatory from it, then he has exposed it to cessation).
مَنْ بَسَطَ يَدَهُ بِالإنْعامِ حَصَّنَ نِعْمَتَهُ مِنَ الاِنْصِرامِ.
هر که دستش را به بخشش (انعام) دراز کند، نعمتش را از بازگشت (انسرام) پاسبان داشته است.
Whoever extends his hand to bestow favours [to others] has protected his [own] blessing from cessation.
مَنْ أوْسَعَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ نِعْمَةً (نِعَمَهُ) وَجَبَ عَلَيْهِ أنْ يُوَسِّعَ النّاسَ إنْعاماً.
هر که خداوند بر او نعمت (نعمت‌ها) را فزون (واسع) کرده، بر او واجب است که نعمت‌هایش را بر مردم گسترانَد.
It is incumbent upon the one whom Allah has munificently blessed to be generous in granting favours to the people.
مِنَ النِّـعَمِ اَلصَّدِيقُ الصَّدُوقُ.
دوستِ راستگو، از نعمت‌هاست.
A truthful friend is one of the blessings [of Allah].
مِنْ كَمالِ النِّعْمَةِ التَّحَلِّي بِالسَّخاءِ والتَّعَفُّفِ.
از کمالِ نعمت، آراسته‌شدن به بخشندگی و پاک‌دامنی است.
Being adorned with generosity and chastity is one of the most perfect blessings.
