حکمت ۹۸۴۱ — موضوع ۶۵۶ · The EquitableSaying 9841 — The Equitableإنَّ مِنْ فَضْلِ الرَّجُلِ أنْ يُنْصِفَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ، ويُحْسِنَ إلى مَنْ أساءَ إلَيْهِ.
همانا از فضیلتِ مرد آن است که به خویشتن انصاف بورد و به آن کس که بدی کرد، نیکی کند.
Indeed it is from the merit of a man to be fair with others, and to do good to the one who does him evil.
حکمت ۹۸۴۲ — موضوع ۶۵۶ · The EquitableSaying 9842 — The Equitableاَلمُنْصِفُ كَرِيمٌ، اَلظّالِمُ لَئِيمٌ.
منصف، بزرگوار و ستمگر، پست‌کار است.
The equitable person is noble whereas the oppressor is wicked.
حکمت ۹۸۴۳ — موضوع ۶۵۷ · The ViewedSaying 9843 — The Viewedلاخَيْـرَ فِي المَنْظَرِ إلاّ مَعَ حُسْنِ المَخْبَرِ. [^1]: Or: There is no good in the viewable exterior except when the interior is [also] good.
در ظاهر (منظر) جز همراه با نیکوییِ باطن (مخبر) نیکی نیست.
There is no good in that which is viewed except when accompanied with a good source of information [or good elocution].[^1]
حکمت ۹۸۴۴ — موضوع ۶۵۸ · Being Systematic In WorkSaying 9844 — Being Systematic In Workإجْعَلْ لِكُلِّ إنْسان مِنْ خَدَمِكَ عَمَلاً تَأْخُذُهُ بِهِ فَإنَّ ذلِكَ أحْرى أنْ لا يَتَواكَلُوا في خِدْمَتِكَ.
برای هر یک از کارکنانِ خود کاری قرار ده که او را به آن پاسخ‌گو (مؤاخذه) کنی، که همانا این، به آن است که در خدمتِ تو به یکدیگر تکیه نکنند.
Assign for each one of your servants work that you hold him responsible for, as indeed this is more appropriate to ensure that they do not depend upon one another in your service.
حکمت ۹۸۴۵ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9845 — Blessingاَلنِّعْمَةُ مَوْصُولَةٌ بِالشُّكْرِ، والشُّكْرُ مَوْصُولٌ بِالْمَزِيدِ، وهُما مَقْرُونانِ في قَرَن، فَلَنْ يَنْقَطِعَ المَزِيدَ مِنَ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ حَتّى يَنْقَطِعَ الشُّكْرُ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِ.
نعمت، به سپاس متصل و سپاس، به افزودن (مزید) متصل است و این دو، در یک زنجیر گره خورده‌اند؛ پس افزودن از جانبِ خداوند سبحان هرگز قطع نشود تا سپاسگزاریِ سپاس‌گزار قطع شود.
Blessing is linked to gratitude and gratitude is linked to increase [in blessings], and these two are linked together in one chain, for increase [in blessings] from Allah, the Glorified, will never cease until the gratitude of the thankful one ceases.
حکمت ۹۸۴۶ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9846 — Blessingاِسْتَصْلِحْ كُلَّ نِعْمَة أنْعَمَهَا اللّهُ عَلَيْكَ، وَلاتُضِعْ نِعْمَةً مِنْ نِعَمِ اللّهِ عِنْدَكَ.
از هر نعمتی که خداوند بر تو افزوده است، نیکو (صلاح) بجو و نعمتی از نعمت‌هایِ خدا را نزدِ خود ضایع مکن.
Seek good out of every blessing that Allah has bestowed upon you and do not waste any favour of Allah over you.
حکمت ۹۸۴۷ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9847 — Blessingولْـيُرَ عَلَيْكَ أثَرُ ما أنْعَمَ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ بِهِ عَلَيْكَ.
اثرِ آنچه را که خداوند سبحان به تو نعمت کرده، بر تو دیده شود.
Let the effect of that which Allah, the Glorified, has blessed you with be seen on you.
حکمت ۹۸۴۸ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9848 — Blessingاِسْتَتِمُّوا نِعَمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالصَّبْرِ عَلى طاعَتِهِ، والْمُحافَظَةِ عَلى مَا اسْتَحْفَظَكُمْ مِنْ كتابِهِ.
کمالِ نعمت‌هایِ خدا بر خود را با صبر بر فرمان‌برداریِ او و پاس‌داشتِ آنچه از کتابش بر شما تحفّظ کرده، بجویید.
Seek the perfection of Allah’s blessing upon you through patience in obedience to Him and preserving that which He has commanded you to preserve [and act upon] of His book.
حکمت ۹۸۴۹ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9849 — Blessingاِحْذَرُوا نِفارَ النِّعَمِ فَما كُلُّ شارِد بِمَرْدُود.
از گریز (نِفار) نعمت‌ها بپرهیزید، که هرچه پراکنده شود بازگردانده نمی‌شود.
Beware of the slipping away of blessings, for not everything that runs away comes back.
حکمت ۹۸۵۰ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9850 — Blessingالا وإنَّ مِنَ النِّعَمِ سَعَةُ الْمالِ، وأفْضَلُ مِنْ سَعَةِ المالِ صِحَّةُ الْبَدَنِ، وأفْضَلُ مِنْ صِحَّةِ الْبَدَنِ تَقْوَى الْقَلْبِ.
آگاه باشید که از نعمت‌ها، فراوانیِ مال است و به‌تر از فراوانیِ مال، سلامتِ تن و به‌تر از سلامتِ تن، تقوا (پرهیزگاری)ٔ دل است.
Indeed, one of the blessings is affluence, but good health is better than affluence, and the God-wariness of the heart is [even] better than good health.
حکمت ۹۸۵۱ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9851 — Blessingأفْضَلُ ما مَنَّ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ بِهِ عَلى عِبادِهِ: عِلْمٌ، وعَقْلٌ، ومُلْكٌ وَعَدْلٌ.
به‌ترین چیزهایی که خداوند سبحان بر بندگانش نعمت کرده: دانش، خرد، مُلک (توان) و عدل است.
The best things that Allah, the Glorified, has blessed his servants with are: knowledge, intelligence, power and justice.
حکمت ۹۸۵۲ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9852 — Blessingأحْسَنُ النّاسِ حالاً فِي النِّعَمِ مَنِ اسْتَدامَ حاضِرَها بِالشُّكْرِ وارْتَجَعَ فائِتَها بِالصَّبْرِ.
به‌حال‌ترینِ مردم در نعمت‌ها، آن است که حاضرِ آن را به سپاسگری پایدار و از دست‌رفته‌اش را به صبر بازیاورد.
The person who is in the best condition of all people is he who makes present blessings last by being grateful for them and gets those that are lost restored through patience.
حکمت ۹۸۵۳ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9853 — Blessingأقَلُّ ما يَلْزَمُكُمْ لِلّهِ تَعالى أنْ لاتَسْتَعِينُوا بِنِعَمِهِ عَلى مَعاصِيهِ.
کمترین چیزی که شما به خداوند تعالی دارید آن است که به نعمت‌هایش در گناه‌هایش یاری نجویید.
The least that you must do for Allah, the Most High, is ensure that you do not use His blessings as a means of disobeying [and sinning against] Him.
حکمت ۹۸۵۴ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9854 — Blessingإنَّ لِلّهِ سُبْحانَهُ عِباداً يَخْتَصُّهُمْ بِالنِّعَمِ لِمَنافِعِ الْعِبادِ، يُقِرُّ ها فِي أيْدِيهِمْ ما بَذَلُوها فَإذا مَنَعُوها نَزَعَها مِنْهُمْ وحَوَّلَها إلى غَيْرِهِمْ.
همانا برای خداوند سبحان بندگانی است که ایشان را به سببِ منفعتِ بندگان به نعمت‌ها اختصاص می‌دهد و آن نعمت‌ها را تا زمانی که بخشند در دست‌هایشان برقرار می‌دارد و چون دریغ کنند، از ایشان برباید و به غیرشان تبدیل کند.
Verily Allah, the Glorified, has certain selected servants upon whom He bestows blessings for the benefit of the people, causing these [blessings] to remain in their possession as long as they grant them [to the people], but if they withhold them [from the people], He takes away these blessings from them and transfers them to others.
حکمت ۹۸۵۵ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9855 — Blessingإنَّ لِلّهِ تَعالى فِي السَّـرّاءِ نِعْمَةَ الإفْضالِ، وفِي الضَّـرّاءِ نِعْمَةَ التَّطْهِيرِ.
همانا برای خداوند تعالی در سربلندی، نعمتِ فضل و در سرتوپی، نعمتِ تطهیر (پاک‌سازی) است.
Verily Allah, the Most High, bestows the blessing of benevolence in [times of] ease and the blessing of purification [in times] of hardship.
حکمت ۹۸۵۶ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9856 — Blessingاَلنـِّعَمُ تَدُومُ بِالشُّكْرِ.
نعمت‌ها، به سپاسگری پایدار شوند.
Blessings last through gratitude.
حکمت ۹۸۵۷ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9857 — Blessingإنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أنْ لا يَكُونَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ اللّهِ ذُو نِعْمَة فَافْعَلْ.
اگر توانی که میانِ تو و خداوند، نعمت‌دهنده‌ای نباشد، آن را به عمل آور.
If you are able to ensure that there is no [other] benefactor between you and Allah then do so.
حکمت ۹۸۵۸ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9858 — Blessingإنَّما يُعْرَفُ قَدْرُ النِّعَمِ بِمُقاساةِ ضِدِّها.
قدرِ نعمت‌ها، جز به تجربهٔ ضدّش شناخته نشود.
The only way that the value of blessings can be known is by suffering their contraries.
حکمت ۹۸۵۹ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9859 — Blessingإذا رَأيْتَ اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ يُتابِـعُ عَلَيْكَ النِّـعَمَ مَعَ المَعاصي فَهُوَ اسْتِدْراجٌ لَكَ.
چون دیدی که خداوند سبحان با وجودِ گناه‌هایت، نعمت‌ها را بر تو پی در پی می‌رساند، همانا آن استدریج (فراخوانِ به عذاب) برای توست.
When you see Allah continuously sending blessings upon you despite your sins, then [know that] it is a means of driving you [towards greater punishment].
حکمت ۹۸۶۰ — موضوع ۶۵۹ · BlessingSaying 9860 — Blessingإذا نَزَلَتْ بِكَ النِّعْمَةُ فَاجْعَلْ قِراها الشُّكْرَ.
چون نعمت بر تو نازل شد، پذیرشش را سپاسگزاری گردان.
When a blessing comes down to you then receive it with gratitude.
