هر که بر حق چیره جوید، مغلوب شود.
One who tries to prevail against the truth is overpowered [by it].

حکمت ۲۲۰۱ تا ۲۲۲۰Sayings 2201 to 2220
مَنْ حارَبَ الحَقَّ حُرِبَ.
هر که با حق بجنگد، جنگ‌زده شود.
One who battles against the truth is ruined.
مَنْ عانَدَ الحَقَّ قَتَلَهُ (صَـرَعَهُ).
هر که با حق لجاج کند، [حق] او را بکشد [یا به خاک افکند].
One who opposes the truth is killed (or thrown down) by it.
مَنْ عانَدَ الحَقَّ لَزِمَهُ الوَهْنُ.
هر که با حق لجاج کند، سستی لازمش شود.
One who opposes the truth is seized by powerlessness.
مَنْ عانَدَ الحَقَّ كانَ اللّهُ خَصْمَهُ.
هر که با حق لجاج کند، خدا خصمش باشد.
One who opposes the truth has taken Allah as his adversary.
مَنْ لَمْ يُنْجِهِ الحَقُّ، أهْلَكَهُ الباطِلُ.
هر که حق نجاتش ندهد، باطل هلاکش کند.
One who is not saved by the truth is destroyed by falsehood.
مَنْ تَعَدَّى الحَقَّ، ضاقَ مَذْهَبُهُ.
هر که از حق درگذرد، مذهبش تنگ شود.
One who transgresses the truth, his path becomes narrowed.
مَنِ اعْتَزَّ بِالحَقِّ أعَزَّهُ الحَقُّ.
هر که به حق عزیز شود، حق عزیزش دارد.
One who seeks honour through truth will be honoured by truth.
مَنْ أبْدى صَفْحَتَهُ لِلْحَقِّ هَلَكَ.
هر که رویِ خود را بر حق بتابد، هلاک شود.
One who shows his face [in opposition] to the truth is destroyed.
مَنِ اتَّخَذَ الحَقَّ لِجاماً اِتَّخَذَهُ النَّاسُ إماماً.
هر که حق را افسارِ خود سازد، مردم او را پیشوای خود سازند.
One who takes the truth as his reins, the people will take him to be their leader.
مَنْ عَمِلَ بِالحَقِّ مالَ إلَيْهِ الخَلْقُ.
هر که به حق عمل کند، آفریدگان به او گرایند.
Whoever acts upon the truth, the creation incline towards him.
مَنِ اسْتَحْيى مِنْ قَوْلِ الحَقِّ فَهُوَ أحْمَقُ.
هر که از گفتنِ حق شرم کند، احمق‌تر است.
One who feels ashamed of speaking the truth is really a fool.
مَنْ جاهَدَ عَلى إقامَةِ الحَقِّ وُفِّقَ.
هر که برای برپاداشتنِ حق بکوشد، توفیق یابد.
One who struggles to establish the truth is granted success [by Allah].
مَنْ نَكَبَ عَنِ الحَقِّ ذُمَّ عاقِبَتُهُ.
هر که از حق برگردد، عاقبتش نکوهیده شود.
One who deviates from the truth, his end is dispraised.
مَنِ اسْتَسْلَمَ لِلْحَقِّ، وأَطاعَ المُحِقَّ كانَ مِنَ المُحْسِنِينَ.
هر که به حق تسلیم شود و حق‌دار را فرمان برد، از نیکوکاران است.
Whoever surrenders to the truth and follows the rightful [leader] is [considered to be] among the righteous.
مَنْ جَعَلَ الحَقَّ مَطْلَبَهُ، لانَ لَهُ الشَّديدُ، وقَرُبَ عَلَيْهِ البَعيدُ.
هر که حق را طلبِ خود سازد، سخت بر او نرم شود و دور بر او نزدیک.
Whoever makes the truth his goal, difficult things are made easy for him and distant things are brought nearer to him.
مَنْ أضْعَفَ الحَقَّ وخَذَلَهُ أهْلَكَهُ الباطِلُ وقَتَلَهُ.
هر که حق را ناتوان سازد و یاریش نکند، باطل هلاکش کند و بکشدش.
Whoever weakens the truth and forsakes it is destroyed by falsehood and killed by it.
مَنْ كانَ مَقْصَدُهُ الحَقَّ أدْرَكَهُ، ولَوْ كانَ كَثِيرَ اللَّبْسِ.
هر که مقصودش حق باشد، به آن رسد، هرچند بسیار آمیخته باشد.
One whose goal is the truth will attain it, even if he is very uncertain.
مَنْ عانَدَ الحَقَّ قَتَلَهُ، ومَنْ تَعَزَّزَ عَلَيْهِ (عَلَى الباطِلِ) ذَلَّلَهُ.
هر که با حق لجاج کند، [حق] او را بکشد و هر که بر [حق یا] باطل نازد، خوارش سازد.
Whoever opposes the truth, it kills him and whoever tries to overpower it, it humiliates him.
مَنْ نَصَرَ الحَقَّ غَنِمَ.
هر که حق را یاری کند، غنیمت برد.
Whoever helps the truth, benefits.
