مُنازِعُ الحَقِّ مَخْصُومٌ.
مخاصمِ حق مغلوب است.
One who contends with the truth is defeated.
نِعْمَ الدَّليلُ الحَقُّ.
چه نیکو راهنمایی است حق!
How good a guide truth is!
لاتُمْسِكْ عَنْ إظْهارِ الحَقِّ، إذا وَجَدْتَ لَهُ أهْلاً.
چون اهلش را یافتی، از آشکارکردنِ حق درنگ مکن.
Do not hold back from presenting the truth when you find those who are worthy of it.
لا يُؤْنِسَنَّكَ إلاّ الحَقُّ، ولا يُوحِشَنَّكَ إلاّ الباطِلُ.
جز حق اُنست ندهد و جز باطل وحشت نیندازد.
Let nothing make you feel at ease but the truth and let nothing make you uneasy except falsehood.
لاتَمْنَعَنَّكُمْ رِعايَةُ الحَقِّ لأحَد عَنْ إقامَةِ الحَقِّ عَلَيْهِ.
رعایتِ حقِ کسی شما را از برپاداشتنِ حق بر او باز ندارد.
Let not your attention towards the rights of a person [who is close to you] prevent you from establishing justice against him.
لا يَجْتَمِعُ الباطِلُ والحَقُّ.
باطل و حق گرد هم نیایند.
Falsehood and truth do not go together.
لايَصْبِرُ عَلَى الحَقِّ إلاّ الحازِمُ الأرِيبُ.
بر حق صبر نکند مگر تدبیرمندِ خردمند.
None is patient in the face of truth except the judicious and intelligent one.
لا رَسُولَ أبْلَغُ مِنَ الحَقِّ.
هیچ فرستاده‌ای رساتر از حق نیست.
There is no messenger more conveying than the truth.
لاناصِحَ أنْصَحُ مِنَ الحَقِّ.
هیچ خیرخواهی خیرخواه‌تر از حق نیست.
There is no adviser more sincere than the truth.
لاصاحِبَ أعَزَّ مِنَ الحَقِّ.
هیچ همنشینی گرامی‌تر از حق نیست.
There is no companion who is dearer than the truth.
لا يُغْلَبُ مَنْ يَسْتَظْهِرُ بِالحَقِّ.
آن که به حق پشت‌گرم است مغلوب نشود.
One who takes the support of truth is not defeated.
لا يَخْصَمُ مَنْ يَحْتَجُّ بِالحَقِّ.
آن که به حق احتجاج کند، محکوم نشود.
One who argues by truth is not defeated.
لا يُدْرَكُ (لايَذِلُّ) مَنِ اعْتَزَّ بِالحَقِّ.
آن که به حق عزیز شود، به زیر نیاید [یا خوار نشود].
One who elevates himself by truth is not overtaken (or abased).
لا يَصْبِرُ لِلْحَقِّ إلاّ مَنْ يَعْرِفُ فَضْلَهُ.
بر حق صبر نکند مگر آن که فضلش را شناسد.
None is patient with the truth except the one who knows its merit.
لا يُعابُ الرَّجُلُ بِأخْذِ حَقِّهِ، وإنَّما يُعابُ بِأخْذِ مالَيْسَ لَهُ.
مرد را به ستاندنِ حقش ملامت نکنند؛ بلکه ملامت به ستاندنِ آنچه او را نیست.
A man cannot be faulted for taking his right, rather he can only be censured for taking that which is not [rightfully] his.
يَسِيرُ الحَقِّ يَدْفَعُ كَثيرَ الباطِلِ.
حقِ اندک باطلِ بسیار را دفع کند.
A little truth repels much falsehood.
خَذَلُوا الحَقَّ، ولَمْ يَنْصُرُوا الباطِلَ.
حق را وا گذاشتند و باطل را یاری نکردند.
[About the ones who did not participate in the battle]: They forsook the truth and did not assist the falsehood.
اَلحَقُّ أبْلَجُ مُنَزَّهٌ عَنِ المُحاباةِ والمُراياةِ.
حق آشکار است و از محابا و خودنمایی منزه.
The truth is illuminated and free from prejudice and hypocrisy.
إرْ كَبِ الحَقَّ وإنْ خالَفَ هَواكَ، ولاتَبِـعْ آخِرَتَكَ بِدُنياكَ.
حق را به کار بند، هرچند هوایت را خلاف باشد و آخرتت را به دنیایت مفروش.
Act upon the truth even if is against your desires and do not sell your Hereafter for this world.
