حکمت ۲۲۶۱ تا ۲۲۸۰Sayings 2261 to 2280
في حَمْلِ (عَمَلِ) عِبادِ اللّهِ عَلى أحْكامِ اللّهِ اِسْتِيفاءُ الحُقُوقِ وَكُلُّ الرِّفْقِ.
در به کار بستنِ [یا عملِ] بندگانِ خدا بر احکامِ خدا، استیفای حق‌هاست و همهٔ مهربانی.
In impelling the servants of Allah to follow (or in their acting upon) the ordinances of Allah, there is the fulfilment of rights and all of kindness.
لَوْ حَفِظْتُمْ حُدُودَ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ لَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ المَوْعُودَ.
اگر حدودِ خدای سبحان را نگاه می‌داشتید، فضلِ موعودش را برایتان شتاب می‌داد.
If you were to preserve the bounds of Allah, the Glorified, He would hasten for you His promised bounty.
مَنْ قَصَّرَ عَنْ أحْكامِ الحُرِّيَّةِ أُعِيدَ إلَى الرِّقِّ.
هر که از احکامِ آزادگی کوتاه آید، به بندگی بازگردانده شود.
One who neglects the commandments of freedom is made to return to serfdom.
اَلْحِكْمَةُ رَوْضَةُ العُقَلاءِ، ونُزْهَةُ النُّبَلاءِ.
حکمت بوستانِ خردمندان و تفرجگاهِ بزرگواران است.
Wisdom is a garden for the intelligent and a promenade for the noble.
اَلْحِكْمَةُ لاتَحِلُّ قَلْبَ المُنافِقِ إلاّ وهِيَ عَلَى ارْتِحال.
حکمت در دلِ منافق نگیرد مگر آن که آمادهٔ کوچ باشد.
Wisdom does not settle in the heart of a hypocrite except that it departs from it [soon after].
اَلْحِكْمَةُ ضالَّةُ كُلِّ مُؤْمِن، فَخُذُوها ولَوْ مِنْ أفْواهِ المُنافِقينَ.
حکمت گمشدهٔ هر مؤمن است؛ پس آن را بگیرید، هرچند از دهانِ منافقان.
Wisdom is the lost property of every believer, so take it even if it be from the mouths of hypocrites.
اَلْحِكْمَةُ شَجَرَةٌ تَنْبُتُ فِي الْقَلْبِ، وتُثْمِرُ عَلَى اللِّسانِ.
حکمت درختی است که در دل روید و بر زبان بار دهد.
Wisdom is a tree that grows in the heart and bears [its] fruit on the tongue.
اِسْتَشْعِرِ الْحِكْمَةَ، وتَجَلْبَبِ السَّكِينَةَ، فَإنَّهُما حِلْيَةُ الأبـْرارِ.
حکمت را شعارِ خود کن و آرامش را جامه؛ چرا که آن دو زیورِ نیکان‌اند.
Fill your heart with wisdom and don the attire of tranquillity for these two are the ornaments of the virtuous.
أوَّلُ الْحِكْمَةِ تَرْكُ اللَّذّاتِ، وآخِرُها مَقْتُ الفانِياتِ.
آغازِ حکمت ترکِ لذت‌هاست و پایانِ آن دشمنی با فانیه‌ها.
The beginning of wisdom is abandoning [worldly] pleasures and its end is loathing the transitory.
أفْضَلُ الحِكْمَةِ مَعْرِفَةُ الإنْسانِ نَفْسَهُ، ووُقُوفُهُ عِنْدَ قَدْرِهِ.
برترینِ حکمت شناختِ انسان از خود و ایستادنش بر قدرِ خویش است.
The greatest wisdom is for the human being to know himself and to remain within his limits.
اَلْحِكْمَةُ تُرْشِدُ.
حکمت راه‌نمود.
Wisdom guides [one] to the right.
اَلْحِكْمَةُ عِصْمَةٌ.
حکمت بازدارنده است.
Wisdom is protection.
اَلْحِكَمُ رِياضُ النُّبَلاءِ.
حکمت‌ها بوستان‌های بزرگواران‌اند.
Wisdoms are the gardens of the noble ones.
إذا ضَلَلْتَ عَنْ حِكْمَةِ اللّهِ فَقِفْ عِنْدَ قُدْرَتِهِ، فَإنَّكَ إنْ فاتَكَ مِنْ حِكْمَتِهِ ما يَشْفِيكَ فَلَنْ يَفُوتَكَ مِنْ قُدْرَتِهِ ما يَكْفِيكَ.
اگر از حکمتِ خدا گم شدی، بر قدرتش بایست؛ چرا که اگر از حکمتش آنچه شفا‌بخش توست بگذرد، از قدرتش آنچه کفایتت کند نگذرد.
When you get lost from the wisdom of Allah then stand with His power, for indeed [even] if you do not get of His wisdom that which can heal you, you will not lose of His power that which will suffice you.
بِالحِكْمَةِ يُكْشَفُ غِطاءُ العِلْمِ.
به حکمت است که پوششِ دانش برداشته شود.
Through wisdom, the veil of knowledge is removed.
ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ الفَوْزُ.
میوهٔ حکمت رستگاری است.
The fruit of wisdom is success.
ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ التَّنَزُّهُ عَنِ الدُّنيا، والوَلَهُ بِجَنَّةِ المَأْوى.
میوهٔ حکمت بی‌آلایشی از دنیا و شیفتگی به بهشتِ مأواست.
The fruit of wisdom is disdain for the world and infatuation with the Eternal Paradise.
جَمالُ الْحِكْمَةِ الرِّفْقُ، وحُسْنُ المُداراةِ.
زیبِ حکمت مهربانی و نیکو‌مدارایی است.
The beauty of wisdom is kindness and good amicability.
حَدُّ الْحِكْمَةِ اَلإعْراضُ عَنْ دارِ الفَناءِ، والتَّوَلُّهُ بِدارِ البَقاءِ.
حدِّ حکمت روی‌گردانی از سرایِ فنا و شیفتگی به سرایِ بقاست.
The boundary of wisdom is turning away from the perishing abode [of this world] and being infatuated with the Eternal Abode [of the Hereafter].
