مِنَ الخُرْقِ العَجَلَـةُ قَبْلَ الإمْكانِ، والأناةُ بَعْدَ إصابَةِ الفُرصَةِ.
از تندی است شتاب پیش از امکان و درنگ پس از یافتنِ فرصت.
It is from ineptness to make haste before [having] ability, and to act slowly after getting the opportunity.

مِنَ الفُحشِ كَثْرَةُ الخُرْقِ.
از فحش است فزونیِ تندی.
Increased ineptness is an abomination.
مِنَ الخُرْقِ تَرْكُ الفُرْصَةِ عِندَ الإمكانِ.
از تندی است وانهادنِ فرصت هنگام امکان.
It is from ineptitude to let go of an opportunity when one is able to take it.
ما كانَ الخُرْقُ في شَيْء إلاّ شانَهُ.
تندی در چیزی نباشد مگر آن را زشت سازد.
Ineptness is not in anything but that it tarnishes it.
لا خُلْقَ أشيَـنُ مِنَ الخُرْقِ.
هیچ خویی زشت‌تر از تندی نیست.
There is no quality more disgraceful than ineptitude.
لا خُلَّةَ أزْرى مِنَ الخُرْقِِ.
هیچ خصلتی فروتر از تندی نیست.
There is no attribute more belittling than ineptitude.
رُبَّ رابح خاسر.
بسا سودجویی که زیان‌کار است.
Many a person who gains is [actually] a loser.
أخسَرُكُمْ أظْلَمُكُمْ.
زیان‌کارترینِ شما ستمگرترینِ شماست.
The biggest loser from among you is the most unjust from among you.
ما أخْسَرَ مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ نَصيبٌ.
چه زیان‌کار است آن که را در آخرت بهره‌ای نیست!
How great a loser is he for whom there is no share [of reward] in the Hereafter!
إذا أنتَ هُديتَ لِقَصْدِكَ فَكُنْ أخْشَعَ ما تَـكُونُ لِرَبِّكَ.
چون به هدایتِ مقصودت رسیدی، خاشع‌ترینِ حالاتت را برای پروردگارت باش.
When you are guided to your goal then be most submissive in front of your Lord.
كُلُّ شَيْء خاضِعٌ لِلّهِ.
هر چیز برای خدا سرفرودآورده است.
Everything is humble in front of Allah.
كُلُّ شَيْء خاشِعٌ لِلّهِ.
هر چیز برای خدا خشوع دارد.
Everything is submissive in front of Allah.
مَنْ خَشَعَ قَلْبُهُ حَشَعَتْ جَوارِحُهُ.
هر که دلش خشوع کند، اعضایش خشوع کنند.
One whose heart submits, his limbs [also] submit.
مَنْ خَضَعَ لِعَظَمَةِ اللّهِ ذَلَّتْ لَهُ الرِّقابُ.
هر که برای عظمتِ خدا فروتنی کند، گردن‌ها برایش خوار شوند.
Whoever is humble in front of the majesty of Allah, people become submissive to him.
نِعمَ الطَّاعَةُ الأنْقيادُ، والخُضوعُ.
چه نیکو طاعتی است فرمان‌بردن و فروتنی!
The best form of obedience is submission and humility.
نِعمَ عَونُ الدُّعاءِ الخُشُوعُ.
چه نیکو یاورِ دعاست خشوع!
How good a supporter of supplication submissiveness!
لاعِبادَةَ كَالخُضُوعِ.
هیچ عبادتی چون فروتنی نیست.
There is no worship like [that which is accompanied by] humility.
الخُضُوعُ دِناءَةٌ
فروتنی [در برابر مردم] فرومایگی است.
Humility means servility [in front of Allah].
مَنْ يَكُنِ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ خَصْمَهُ يُدحِضْ حُجَّتَهُ، ويُعَذِّبْهُ فِي الدُّنيا وَمََعادِهِ.
هر که خدای سبحان خصمش باشد، حجتش را باطل کند و در دنیا و سرانجامش عذابش کند.
One whose enemy is Allah, the Glorified, his proof is refuted and he is punished in this world and in his Hereafter.
مَنْ يَكُنِ اللّهُ خَصْمَهُ يُدْحِضْ حُجَّتَهُ، وَيَكُنْ لَهُ حَرباً.
هر که خدا خصمش باشد، حجتش را باطل کند و با او در جنگ شود.
One whose enemy is Allah, his proof is refuted and Allah wages war with him.
