حکمت ۲۷۲۱ — موضوع ۱۷۱ · WritingSaying 2721 — Writingاِلْقِ دَواتَكَ، وأطِلْ جَلْفَةَ قَلَمِكَ، وفَرِّقْ بَيْـنَ سُطورِكَ، وقَرْمِطْ بَينَ حُروفِكَ، فإنَّ ذلِكَ أجْدَرُبِصَباحَةِ الخَطِّ.
دواتت را پُر کن و تراشِ قلمت را بلند گیر و میان سطرها فاصله انداز و حروف را درشت‌نویس کن؛ چرا که این به روشناییِ خط سزاوارتر است.
Put cotton in your inkpot, keep the nib of your pen long, leave space between your lines and keep the letters close to each other, for this makes the writing more beautiful.
حکمت ۲۷۲۲ — موضوع ۱۷۱ · WritingSaying 2722 — Writingاِفْتَحْ بَرْيَةَ قَلََمِكَ، واسْمِكْ شَحْمَتَهُ، وأيْمِنْ قِطَّتَكَ، يَجُدْ خَطُّكَ.
تراشِ قلمت را بگشا و پهنه‌اش را بلند گیر و برش را به راست کن تا خطت نیکو شود.
Open the sharpened nib of your pen, thicken its point [so that it does not break easily] and cut the edge on the right side so that your handwriting becomes good.

خط زبانِ دست است.
Writing is the tongue of the hand.

مایهٔ باروریِ اندیشه‌ها مباحثه است.
The imbuement of ideas is through deliberation.
حکمت ۲۷۲۵ — موضوع ۱۷۳ · The DaringSaying 2725 — The Daringاَلمُخاطِرُ مُتَهَجِّمٌ عَلَى الغَرَرِ.
خطرپذیر یورش‌برنده بر غرور است.
The daring risk-taker charges towards danger.
حکمت ۲۷۲۶ — موضوع ۱۷۴ · MistakesSaying 2726 — Mistakesكَثْرَةُ الخَطاءِ يُنْذِرُ بِوُفُورِ الجَهلِِ.
فزونیِ خطا خبر از فزونیِ نادانی دهد.
Making many mistakes points towards excessive ignorance.
حکمت ۲۷۲۷ — موضوع ۱۷۵ · Sincerity And DevotionSaying 2727 — Sincerity And Devotionاَلإخْلاصُ خَطَرٌ عَظيمٌ حتّى يُنْظَرَ بِما يُخْتَمُ لَهُ.
اخلاص خطری بزرگ است تا آن گاه که بنگرند سرانجامش چیست.
Sincerity is in grave danger, until it is seen what it concludes with.
حکمت ۲۷۲۸ — موضوع ۱۷۵ · Sincerity And DevotionSaying 2728 — Sincerity And Devotionأخْلِصْ تَنَلْ.
مخلص باش تا به دست آوری.
Be sincere and you will attain [success].
حکمت ۲۷۲۹ — موضوع ۱۷۵ · Sincerity And DevotionSaying 2729 — Sincerity And Devotionأخْلِصْ لِلّهِ عَمَلَكَ، وعِلْمَكَ، وحُبَّكَ، وبُغْضَكَ، وأخْذَكَ، وتَرْكَكَ، وكَلامَكَ، وصَمْتَكَ.
برای خدا عمل و دانش و دوستی و دشمنی و گرفتن و ترک و سخن و خاموشی‌ات را مخلص کن.
Let your action, your knowledge, your love, your hatred, your taking, your leaving, your speech and your silence [all] be [sincerely] for the sake of Allah.
حکمت ۲۷۳۰ — موضوع ۱۷۵ · Sincerity And DevotionSaying 2730 — Sincerity And Devotionاِلْزَمِ الإخْلاصَ فيِ السِّـرِّ والعَلانِيَةِ، والخَشيَةَ فِي الغَيْبِ والشَهادَةِ، والقَصْدَ فِي الفَقْرِ والغِنى، والعَدْلَ فِي الرِّضا والسَّخَطِ.
اخلاص را در نهان و آشکار و خشیت را در غیاب و حضور و میانه‌روی را در فقر و توانگری و عدل را در خشنودی و خشم لازم دار.
Adopt sincerity in secret and in the open, fear [of Allah] when unseen and seen, moderation in poverty and wealth, and equity in satisfaction and anger.
حکمت ۲۷۳۱ — موضوع ۱۷۵ · Sincerity And DevotionSaying 2731 — Sincerity And Devotionأخْلِصُوا إذا عَمِلْتُمْ.
چون عمل کنید، مخلص باشید.
Be sincere when you perform an action [and do it only for the pleasure of Allah].

اخلاص غایت است.
Sincerity is the goal [of worship].

اخلاص رستگاری است.
Sincerity is [a means of attaining] success.

اخلاص بهترینِ عمل است.
Being sincere is the best of actions.

اخلاص میوهٔ عبادت است.
