مخلص سزاوارِ اجابت است.
The sincere one is worthy of getting [his prayers] answered.

مَنْ أخْلَصَ بَلَغَ الآمالَ.
هر که مخلص شود، به آرزوها رسد.
One who makes his actions sincere, attains his hopes.
واعَجَبا أنْ تَـكُونَ الخِلافَةُ بِالصَّحابَةِ ولا تَـكُونَ بِالصَّحابَةِ والقَرابَةِ.
شگفتا که خلافت به همراهی باشد و به همراهی و خویشاوندی نباشد!
How strange it is that the succession [to the Prophet] is [decided] by companionship [only] and not by companionship and kinship.
لِلّهِ سُبْحانَهُ حُكْمٌ بَيِّنٌ فِي المُسْتأثِرِ والجازِعِ. [^1]: Part of sermon no. 30 of Nahj al-Balāgha.
خدای سبحان را دربارهٔ خودخواه و بی‌تاب حکمی آشکار است.
With Allah, the Glorified, lies the clear verdict between the appropriator [Uthmān] and the protestor [who was responsible for his assassination].[^1]
اَلخِلافُ يَهْدِمُ الآراءَ.
اختلاف رای‌ها را ویران کند.
Disagreement wrecks [good] ideas.
اَلاُمُورُ المُنْتَظِمَةُ يُفْسِدُهَا الخِلافُ.
کارهای منظم را اختلاف تباه کند.
Organized affairs are disrupted by disagreement.
سَبَبُ الفُرْقَةِ اَلاِخْتِلافُ.
سببِ جدایی اختلاف است.
The cause of disunity is disagreement.
لَيْسَ مََعَ الخِلافِ اِيتِلافٌ.
با اختلاف سازشی نیست.
With disagreement there is no harmony.
مِنَ الخِلافِ تَـكُونُ النَّبْوَةُ.
از اختلاف نافرهنگی آید.
From disagreement stems repulsion [and hatred].[^1]
كَثْرَةُ الخِلافِ شِقاقٌ.
فزونیِ اختلاف دشمنی است.
Too much disagreement is discord.
اَلخُلْفُ مَثارُ الحُُروبِ.
خلف وعده برانگیزندهٔ جنگ‌هاست.
Disagreement is the motive for wars.
اَلمُخاصَمَةُ تُبْدي سَفَهَ الرَّجُلِ ولاتَزيدُ في حَقِّهِ. [^1]: Another possible translation as mentioned by ‘Allāma Khwānsari (r) is: From opposition (to vain desires) loftiness is achieved.
مخاصمه سبکیِ مرد را آشکار کند و بر حقش نیفزاید.
Disputes demonstrate the foolishness of a person and do not increase his claim.
الخُلْقُ السَّجيحُ أحَدُ النِّعْمَتينِ.
خویِ آسان یکی از دو نعمت است.
A refined character is one of the two blessings.
أحْسَنُ شَيْء اَلخُلْقُ.
نیکوترینِ چیزها خوی است.
The best thing is [good] character.
أكْرَمُ الحَسَبِ الخُلْقُ.
گرامی‌ترینِ شرافت‌ها خوی است.
The most honourable distinction is [good] character.
أحْسَنُ الشِّيَمِ شَرَفُ الهِمَمِ.
نیکوترینِ خوی‌ها بلندیِ همت‌هاست.
The best of qualities is honourable ambition.
أزْيَنُ الشِّيَمِ اَلْحِلمُ والعِفافُ.
آراسته‌ترینِ خوی‌ها بردباری و پاکدامنی است.
The most beautiful qualities are forbearance and chastity.
أطْهَرُ النَّاسِ أعْراقاً أحْسَنُهُمْ أخْلاقاً.
پاک‌ترینِ مردم ریشه‌ها نیکوترینِ آنان اخلاق است.
The purest of all people in lineage is the best of them in character.
أرْضَى النَّاسِ مَنْ كانَتْ أخْلاقُهُ رَضِيَّةً.
خشنودترینِ مردم آن است که اخلاقش پسندیده باشد.
The most pleased of all people is one whose character is agreeable.
أحْسَنُ السَّناءِ الخُلْقُ السَّجيحُ.
نیکوترینِ ستایش‌ها خویِ آسان است.
The best eminence is [in possessing] a beautiful character.
