آن که استخاره کند پشیمان نشود.

حکمت ۳۰۰۱ تا ۳۰۲۰Sayings 3001 to 3020
سُنَّةُ الأخْيارِ لِينُ الكَلامِ، وإفْشاءُ السَّلامِ.
سنّتِ نیکان نرم‌سخنی و گستراندنِ سلام است.
The practice of the virtuous ones is polite speech and spreading peace.
مَنْ ساءَ اِخْتيارُهُ قَبُحَتْ آثارُهُ.
هر که انتخابش بد شود، آثارش زشت شود.
One whose choice is bad, his results become ugly.
مِنْ سُوءِ الاختيارِ مُغالَبَةُ الأكْفاءِ، ومُعاداةُ الرِّجالِ.
از بدیِ انتخاب است چیره‌جویی بر هم‌پایگان و دشمنی با مردان.
Some bad choices are seeking to overpower one’s equals and making enmity with people.
مِنْ أحْسَنِ الاخْتيارِ صُحْبَةُ الأخيارِ.
از نیکوترینِ انتخاب‌ها همنشینیِ نیکان است.
One of the best choices is accompanying the virtuous.
مِنْ سُوءِ الاخْتيارِ مُغالَبَةُ الأكْفاءِ، ومُكاشَفَةُ الأعْداءِ ومُناواةُ مَنْ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى الضَّـرّاءِ.
از بدیِ انتخاب است چیره‌جویی بر هم‌پایگان و آشکارکردنِ دشمنی با دشمنان و دشمنی با آن که بر زیان تواناست.
Some of the bad choices are fighting [and seeking to overpower] one’s equals, unveiling an enemy and showing hostility towards one who is able to do harm.
مِنْ أفْضَلِِ الاختيارِ وأحسَنِ الاستظْهارِ أنْ تَعْدِلَ فِي الحُكْمِ (القَضاءِ)، وتُجرِيَهُ فِي الخاصَّةِ والعامَّةِ عَلَى السَّواءِ.
از برترینِ انتخاب‌ها و نیکوترینِ پشت‌گرمی‌ها آن است که در داوری عدل ورزی و آن را بر خاص و عام یکسان جاری سازی.
One of the most excellent choices and best precautions [and supports] is for you to be just in your ruling (or judgment) and to carry it out among the special and the ordinary [people] equally.
مِنْ أفْضَلِ الاخْتيارِ التَّحَلّي بِالإيثارِ.
از برترینِ انتخاب‌ها آراستن به ایثار است.
From the best of choices is adorning oneself with selflessness.
مِنْ حُسْنِ الاخْتيارِ مُقارَنَةُ الأخْيارِ، ومُفارَقَةُ الأشرارِ.
از نیکیِ انتخاب است همراهیِ نیکان و جدایی از بدان.
From the good choices [one makes] is keeping company with the virtuous and keeping a distance from the wicked.
بِئْسَ الاخْتيارُ الرِّضا بِالنَّقْصِ.
چه بد انتخابی است خشنودی به کاستی!
The worst choice is being satisfied with deficiency.
مَنْ لَمْ يَصْلُحْ عَلَى اخْتيارِ اللّهِ لَمْ يَصْلُحْ عَلَى اخْتيارِهِ لِنَفْسِهِ.
هر که بر انتخابِ خدا نیکو نشود، بر انتخابِ خود برای خود نیکو نشود.
Whoever does not get reformed by that which Allah has chosen [for him] will not be reformed by what he chooses for himself.
جانِبُوا الخِيانَةَ فَإنَّها مُجانَبَةُ الإسلامِ.
از خیانت دوری کنید؛ چرا که آن دوری از اسلام است.
Keep away from treachery for it is [a cause of] turning away from Islam.
رَأسُ النِّفاقِ الخِيانَةُ.
سرآمدِ نفاق خیانت است.
The cornerstone of hypocrisy is treachery.
رَأسُ الكُفْرِ الخِيانَةُ.
سرآمدِ کفر خیانت است.
The peak of ingratitude is disloyalty.
غايَةُ الخِيانَةِ خِيانَةُ الخِلِّ الوَدُودِ ونَقْضُ العُهُودِ.
غایتِ خیانت، خیانت به دوستِ مهربان و شکستنِ پیمان‌هاست.
The highest form of treachery is the treachery of a beloved friend and the breaking of pledges.
مَنْ عَمِلَ بِالخِيانَةِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ الأمانَةَ.
هر که به خیانت عمل کند، به امانت ستم کرده است.
One who acts with treachery has done injustice to the trust [that was entrusted to him].
مِنْ أفْحَشِ الخِيانَةِ خِيانَةُ الوَدائِعِ.
از زشت‌ترینِ خیانت‌ها خیانت در سپرده‌هاست.
From the most grievous forms of treachery is being treacherous with trusts or deposits [that one has been entrusted with].
لا تَخُنْ مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكَ وإنْ خانَكَ، ولا تَشِنْ عَدُوَّكَ وإنْ شانَكَ.
به آن که امینت شمرده خیانت مکن، هرچند به تو خیانت کند و دشمنت را عیب‌جو مشو، هرچند عیبجویت باشد.
Do not act treacherously towards one who trusts you, even if he is disloyal with you, and do not disgrace your enemy, even if he disgraces you.
لاتَجْتَمِعُ الخِيانَةُ، والاُخُوَّةُ.
خیانت و برادری گرد هم نیایند.
Treachery and brotherhood do not go together.
إيّاكَ والخيانَةَ، فَإنَّها شَرُّ مََعصِيَة، وإنَّ الخائنَ لَمُعَذَّبٌ بِالنّارِ على خيانَتِهِ.
از خیانت بپرهیز؛ چرا که بدترینِ نافرمانی است و خیانت‌کار به سزای خیانتش در آتش عذاب شود.
Keep away from treachery for it is the worst offence, and verily the treacherous one is surely punished with fire for his treachery.
