زینتِ دین صبر و خشنودی است.

سَبَبُ الوَرَعِ صِحَّةُ الدّينِ.
سببِ پارسایی درستیِ دین است.
The cause of piety is soundness of faith.
سِياسَةُ الدّينِ بِحُسْنِ الوَرَع، واليَقينِ.
سیاستِ دین به نیکوییِ پارسایی و یقین است.
The uprightness of religion is through virtuous piety and certitude.
سَلامَةُ الدّينِ فِي اعتِزالِ النَّاسِ.
سلامتِ دین در کناره‌گیری از مردم است.
The safety of religion is in seclusion from the people.
سَلامَةُ الدّينِ والدُّنيا في مُداراةِ النّاسِ.
سلامتِ دین و دنیا در مدارا با مردم است.
The safety of [one’s] religion and worldly life is in being amicable with the people.
سِتَّةٌ يُخْتَبَرُ بِها دينُ الرَّجلِ: قُوَّةُ الدينِ، وصِدْقُ اليَقينِ، وَشِدَّةُ التَّقوى، ومُغالَبَةُ الهَوى، وقِلَّةُ الرََّغْبِ، والإجْمالُ فِي الطَّلَبِ.
شش چیز است که دینِ مرد بدان آزموده شود: نیرومندیِ دین و راستیِ یقین و شدتِ تقوا و چیرگی بر هوا و کمیِ رغبت و نیکویی در طلب.
Six things are used to test the faith of a man: the strength of his religion, the truth of his conviction, the intensity of his piety, his overcoming vain desires, the paucity of his [worldly] inclinations and his being moderate in what he seeks.
سَنامُ الدّينِ: الصَّبرُ، واليَقينُ، ومُجاهَدَةُ الهوى.
کوهِ دین: صبر و یقین و مجاهده با هواست.
The pinnacle of religion is patience, certitude and struggling against vain desires.
سِتٌّ مِنْ قَواعِدِ الدّينِ: إخلاصُ اليَقينِ، ونُصْحُ المُسْلِمينَ،وَ إقامَةُ الصَّلاةِ، وإيتاءُ الزَّكاةِ، وحِجُّ البَيْتِ، والزُّهْدُ فِي الدُّنيا.
شش چیز از بنیادهای دین است: اخلاصِ یقین و خیرخواهیِ مسلمانان و برپاداشتنِ نماز و دادنِ زکات و حجِّ خانه و بی‌رغبتی به دنیا.
There are six fundamentals of faith: sincerity of conviction, giving advice [and guidance] to [fellow] Muslims, establishing the prayer, paying the zakāt [alms-tax], performing the Hajj [pilgrimage] and renouncing the pleasures of this world.
صَلاحُ الدّينِ الوَرَعُ.
صلاحِ دین پارسایی است.
The rectitude of religion is [through] piety.
صَلاحُ الدّينِ بِحُسْنِ اليَقينِ.
صلاحِ دین به نیکوییِ یقین است.
The rectitude of religion is through strong conviction.
صَيِّرِ الدّينَ حِصْنَ دَوْلَتِكَ، والشُّكْرَ حِرْزَ نِعْمَتِكَ، فَكُلُّ دَوْلَة يَحُوطُها الدّينُ لاتُغْلَبُ، وكُلُّ نِعْمَة يَحْرُزُها الشُّكْرُ لا تُسْلَبُ.
دین را دژِ دولتت و سپاس را حرزِ نعمتت ساز؛ چرا که هر دولتی را دین در پناه گیرد، مغلوب نشود و هر نعمتی را سپاس نگاه دارد، به در نرود.
Make religion the fortress of your state and [make] gratitude the protection of your blessings, for every state that is surrounded by religion will not be defeated and every blessing that is protected by gratitude will not be taken away.
صَيِّرِ الدّينَ جُنَّـةَ حَياتِكَ، والتَّقْوى عُدَّةَ وَفاتِكَ.
دین را سپرِ زندگی‌ات و تقوا را توشهٔ مرگت ساز.
Make religion the shield of your life and piety the preparation for your death.
صِيانَةُ المَرءِ على قَدْرِ دِيانَتِهِ.
پاسداریِ مرد به اندازهٔ دین‌داریِ اوست.
A person’s preservation [of himself from sin] is to the extent of his religiousness.
صُنْ دينَكَ بِدُنْياكَ تَرْبَحْهُما، ولا تَصُنْ دُنْياكَ بِدينِكَ فَتَخْسَرَهُما.
دینت را با دنیایت پاس دار تا هر دو را سود بری و دنیایت را با دینت پاس مدار تا هر دو را زیان نکنی.
Safeguard your religion through your worldly life and you will gain both of them, and do not safeguard your worldly life through your religion thereby losing both of them.
صُنْ الدّينَ بالدُّنيا يُنْجِكَ، ولا تَصُنِ الدُّنْيا بِالدّينِ فَتُردِيَكَ.
دین را با دنیا پاس دار تا نجاتت دهد و دنیا را با دین پاس مدار تا هلاکت کند.
Safeguard the faith through [the life of] this world and it will save you, and do not safeguard [the life of] this world through the faith otherwise it will destroy you.
طُوبى لِمَنْ عَمِلَ بِسُنَّةِ الدّينِ، واقْتَفى آثارَ النَّبييّنَ.
خوشا آن که به سنتِ دین عمل کند و آثارِ پیامبران را پی گیرد!
Blessed is he who acts upon the teachings of religion and follows the footsteps of the Prophets.
عَلَيْكُمْ بِلُزُومِ الدّينِ، والتَّقوى، واليَقينِ، فَهُنَّ أحْسَنُ الحَسَناتِ، وَ بِهِنَّ يُنالُ رَفيعُ الدَّرَجاتِ.
بر شما باد پایبندیِ دین و تقوا و یقین؛ چرا که آنان نیکوترینِ نیکی‌هاست و به آنان درجه‌های بلند به دست آید.
You must cling to religion, piety and certitude, for these are the best of virtues and through them the lofty stations are attained.
على قَدْرِ العَقْلِ يَكُونُ الدّينُ.
به اندازهٔ خِرَد دین باشد.
One’s religiousness is proportionate to his intellect.
غايَةُ الدّينِ الإيمانُ.
غایتِ دین ایمان است.
The height of religion is faith [and conviction].
غايَةُ الدّينِ الرِّضا.
غایتِ دین خشنودی است.
The height of religion is satisfaction [with the decree of Allah].
