فاقِدُ الدّينِ مُتَرَدّ فِي الكُفْرِ والضَّلالِ.
بی‌دین در کفر و گمراهی سرگشته است.
The one who lacks religion falls into disbelief and misguidance.
فَسادُ الدّينِ الدُّنيا.
تباهیِ دین دنیاست.
This world is the corruptor of religion.
قِوامُ الشَّريعَةِ الأمَرُ بِالمَعْروفِ، والنَّهيُ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ، وإقامَةُ الحُدوُدِ.
قوامِ شریعت امر به معروف و نهی از منکر و برپاداشتنِ حدود است.
The basis of religious law is enjoining good, forbidding evil and upholding the boundaries [of Islamic law].
كَما أنَّ الجِسْمَ والظِّلَّ لا يَفْتَرِقانِ، كَذلِكَ الدّينُ والتَّوفيقُ لايَفْتَرقانِ.
چنان که تن و سایه از هم جدا نشوند، دین و توفیق نیز جدا نشوند.
Just as a body and its shadow do not separate, so too religion and success do not separate.
لِكُلِّ دين خُلُقٌ، وخُلُقُ الإيمانِ الرِّفْقُ.
هر دین را خویی است و خویِ ایمان مهربانی است.
For every religion there is a character and the character of faith is kindness.
مَنْ دانَ تَحَصَّنَ.
هر که دین ورزد، حصار یابد.
One who becomes religious fortifies himself.
مَنْ بَخِلَ بِدينِهِ جَلَّ.
هر که بر دینش بخل نورزد [و آن را ارزان ندارد]، بزرگ شود.
One who is stingy with his religion [and does not give it up for the sake of this world] becomes exalted.
مَنْ لادينَ لَهُ لا مُرُوَّةَ لَهُ.
آن که دین ندارد، مردانگی ندارد.
He who has no religion has no magnanimity.
مَنْ تَفَقَّهَ فِي الدّينِ كَثُرَ.
هر که در دین فهم یابد، فزون شود.
One who becomes learned in religion increases [his prosperity].
مَنْ صَحَّتْ دِيانَتُهُ قَوِيَتْ أمانَتُهُ.
هر که دین‌داری‌اش درست شود، امانت‌داری‌اش نیرومند شود.
One whose religiousness is sound, his trustworthiness is stronger.
مَنْ أفْسَدَ دينَهُ أفْسَدَ مَعادَهُ.
هر که دینش را تباه کند، معادش را تباه کرده است.
One who corrupts his faith corrupts his Hereafter.
مَنْ رُزِقَ الدّينُ فَقَدْ رُزِقَ خَيْـرَ الدُّنيا والآخِرَةِ.
هر که دین روزی‌اش شود، خیرِ دنیا و آخرت روزی‌اش شده است.
One who is endowed with religion is endowed with the good of this world and the Hereafter.
مَنْ كَرُمَ دينُهُ عِنْدَهُ هانَتِ الدُّنيا عَلَيْهِ.
هر که دینش نزد او گرامی شود، دنیا بر او آسان شود.
One who considers his religion to be precious, [the hardship of] this world becomes easy for him [to bear].
مَنْ قَوِيَ دينُهُ أيْقَنَ بِالجَزاءِ ورَضِيَ بِمَواقِعِ القَضاءِ.
هر که دینش نیرومند شود، به پاداش یقین کند و به فرودهای قضا خشنود باشد.
One whose faith is strong is certain about the reward [he will get for his good actions] and is satisfied with whatever has been decreed [for him by Allah].
مَنْ لادينَ لَهُ لانَجاةَ لَهُ.
آن که دین ندارد، نجات ندارد.
One who has no religion has no salvation.
مَنْ دَقَّ فِي الدّينِ نَظَرُهُ، جَلَّ يَوْمَ القِيمَةِ خَطَرُهُ.
هر که در دین نگاهش نازک‌بین شود، در روز قیامت قدرش بزرگ شود.
One whose observance of religion is thorough, his position in the Hereafter will be exalted.
مَنْ تَهاوَنَ بِالدّينِ هانَ، ومَنْ غالَبَ الحَقَّ لانَ.
هر که دین را سبک شمارد، خوار شود و هر که بر حق چیره جوید، نرم شود.
One who is careless in his religion becomes lowly and one who fights with the truth, is forced to yield [to it].
مَنِ اتَّخَذَ دينَ اللّهِ لَهْواً ولَعِباً أدْخَلَهُ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ النّارَ مُخَلَّداً فيها.
هر که دینِ خدا را لهو و بازی گیرد، خدای سبحان او را در آتش درآورد، جاودانه در آن.
Whoever takes the religion of Allah as idle sport and play, Allah, the Glorified, will put him into the fire for eternity.
مَنْ أشْفَقَ على دينِهِ سَلِمَ مِنَ الرَّدى.
هر که بر دینش بیم کند، از هلاکت سلامت ماند.
One who is cautious [and concerned] about this religion is safe from destruction.
