دَرَكُ السَّعادَةِ بِمُبادَرَةِ الخَيْراتِ والأعْمالِ الزّاكياتِ.
رسیدن به نیکبختی به شتاب در خیرات و اعمالِ پاک است.
Felicity is gained by hastening good deeds and pure [and virtuous] actions.

حکمت ۴۴۰۱ تا ۴۴۲۰Sayings 4401 to 4420
سَعادَةُ المَرْءِ اَلقَناعَةُ واَلرِّضا.
نیکبختیِ مرد قناعت و خشنودی است.
The felicity of a person is [in] contentment and satisfaction.
سَعادَةُ الرَّجُلِ في إحْرازِ دينِهِ والعَمَلِ لآخِرَتِهِ.
نیکبختیِ مرد در نگاهداریِ دینش و عمل برای آخرتش است.
The felicity of a man is in safeguarding his faith and working for his Hereafter.
كَفى بِالمَرْءِ سَعادَةً أنْ يُوثَقَ بِهِ في أُمُورِ الدّينِ والدُّنيا.
مرد را بس نیکبختی است که در کارهای دین و دنیا بدان اعتماد شود.
It is enough of a felicity for a person that he be deemed trustworthy in religious and worldly affairs.
كَفى بِالمَرْءِ سَعادَةً أنْ يَعْزِفَ عَمّا يَفْنى، ويَتَوَلَّهَ بِما يَبْقى.
مرد را بس نیکبختی است که از آنچه فانی شود دل بکند و به آنچه ماند شیفته شود.
It is enough of a felicity for a person to turn away from that which perishes and become occupied with that which is everlasting.
لَنْ تُعْرَفَ حَلاوَةُ السَّعادَةِ حتّى تُذاقَ مَرارَةُ النَّحْسِ.
شیرینیِ نیکبختی شناخته نشود تا تلخیِ بدبختی چشیده شود.
You will never know the sweetness of felicity until you taste the bitterness of misfortune.
مِنَ السَّعادَةِ التَّوفيقُ لِصالِحِ الأعْمالِ.
از نیکبختی است توفیق برای اعمالِ صالحه.
It is part of felicity to be granted success in performing righteous deeds.
مِنْ كَمالِ السَّعادَةِ السَّعْيُ في صَلاحِ الجُمْهُورِ.
از کمالِ نیکبختی کوشش در صلاحِ همگانی است.
It is from the perfection of felicity for one to strive for the betterment of the [whole] community.
مِنَ السَّعادَةِ نُجْحُ الطَّلِبَةِ.
از نیکبختی است برآمدنِ خواسته.
Successfully attaining what is sought is part of felicity.
مِنْ سَعادَةِ المَرْءِ أنْ يَضَعَ مَعْرُوفَهُ عِنْدَ أهْلِهِ.
از نیکبختیِ مرد است که نیکویی‌اش را نزد اهلش نهد.
From the felicity of a person is his showing benevolence to those who are deserving of it.
لا يَسْعَدُ امْرُءٌ إلاّ بِطاعَةِ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ، ولايَشْقَى امْرُءٌ إلاّ بِمَعْصِيَةِ اللّهِ.
هیچ‌کس نیکبخت نشود مگر به طاعتِ خدای سبحان و هیچ‌کس بدبخت نشود مگر به نافرمانیِ خدا.
A person does not attain felicity except through the obedience of Allah, the Glorified, and a person does not become wretched except by disobeying Allah.
لا يَسْعَدُ أحَدٌ إلاّ بِإقامَةِ حُدُودِ اللّهِ ولايَشْقى أحَدٌ إلاّ بِإضاعَتِها.
هیچ‌کس نیکبخت نشود مگر به برپاداشتنِ حدودِ خدا و هیچ‌کس بدبخت نشود مگر به تباه‌کردنِ آن.
No one attains felicity except by upholding the bounds of Allah and no one becomes wretched except by disregarding them.
مِنْ سَعَادَةِ المَرْءِ أنْ تَكُونَ صَنايِعُهُ عِنْدَ مَنْ يَشْكُرُهُ ومَعْرُوفُهُ عِنْدَ مَنْ لا يَكْفُرُهُ.
از نیکبختیِ مرد است که نیکوکاری‌هایش نزد آن باشد که سپاسش گزارد و نیکویی‌اش نزد آن که ناسپاسی‌اش نکند.
It is from the felicity of a person that his good turns are done to one who thanks him and his benevolence is shown to one who is not ungrateful to him.
ما سَعِدَ مَنْ شَقى إخْوانُهُ.
آن که برادرانش بدبخت شدند، نیکبخت نشد.
He who makes his brothers miserable does not gain felicity.
ما أقْرَبَ السُّعُودَ مِنَ النُّحُوسِ.
چه نزدیک است سعدها به نحس‌ها!
How close are felicities to misfortunes!
هَيْهاتَ مِنْ نَيْلِ السَّعادَةِ اَلسُّكُونُ إلَى الهُوَيْنا والبِطالَةِ.
دور است رسیدن به نیکبختی از آرامش به آسایش و بی‌کاری.
How far is repose in ease and inactivity from acquiring felicity!
عِنْدَ العَرْضِ عَلَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ تَتَحَقَّقُ السَّعادَةُ مِنَ الشَّقاءِ.
هنگامِ عرضه بر خدای سبحان است که نیکبختی از بدبختی جدا شود.
When the presentation [of deeds] in front of Allah, the Glorified, takes place, felicity is differentiated from wretchedness.
السَعِيدُ مَنِ اسْتَهانَ بِالمَفْقُودِ.
نیکبخت آن است که گم‌شده را سبک شمارد.
The felicitous is one who considers that which is lost [to him] as insignificant.
اَلسَّعيدُ مَنْ خافَ العِقابَ فَامَنَ، ورَجَا الثَّوابَ فَأحْسَنَ.
نیکبخت آن است که از کیفر ترسید و ایمن شد و پاداش را امید داشت و نیکو کرد.
Felicitous is one who fears the punishment [of Allah] so he has faith, and hopes for divine reward so he does good deeds.
إنَّ أسْعَدَ النَّاسِ مَنْ كانَ لَهُ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ بِطاعَةِ اللّهِ مُتَقاض.
نیکبخت‌ترینِ مردم آن است که از خودش در طاعتِ خدا مطالبه‌گری داشته باشد.
Verily the most felicitous of people is one who has an exhorter in himself [that urges him] to obey Allah.
