شب‌زنده‌داریِ چشم‌ها به یادِ خدا خالصانهٔ عارفان و شیرینیِ مقرّبان است.
Keeping vigil at night in the remembrance [and worship] of Allah is the devotion of the Gnostics and the delight of the Near Ones.
حکمت ۴۵۸۲ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4582 — Night Vigilسَهَرُ اللَّيْلِ في طاعَةِ اللّهِ رَبيعُ الأوْلياءِ، وَرَوْضَةُ السُّعَداءِ.
شب‌زنده‌داریِ شب در طاعتِ خدا بهارِ اولیا و بوستانِ خوشبختان است.
Keeping vigil at night in the worship of Allah is the spring of the friends [of Allah] and the garden of the felicitous.
حکمت ۴۵۸۳ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4583 — Night Vigilسَهَرُ اللَّيلِ(العيُونِ) بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ غَنِيمَةُ الأوْلياءِ، وَ سَجِيَّةُ الأتْقياءِ.
شب‌زنده‌داریِ شب [یا چشم‌ها] به یادِ خدا غنیمتِ اولیا و طبعِ پرهیزکاران است.
Keeping vigil at night in the remembrance [and worship] of Allah is the prize of the friends [of Allah] and the practice of the God-wary.
حکمت ۴۵۸۴ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4584 — Night Vigilسَهَرُ العُيُونِ بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ فُرْصَةُ السُّعَداءِ، وَ نُزْهَةُ الأوْلياءِ.
شب‌زنده‌داریِ چشم‌ها به یادِ خدا فرصتِ خوشبختان و تفرّجگاهِ اولیا است.
Keeping vigil at night in the remembrance of Allah is the opportunity of the felicitous and the promenade of the friends [of Allah].
حکمت ۴۵۸۵ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4585 — Night Vigilأسْهِرُوا عُيُونَكُمْ، وَ ضَمِّروُا بُطُونَكُمْ، وَ خُذُوا مِنْ أجْسادِكُمْ تَجُودُوا بِها عَلى أنْفُسِكُمْ.
چشم‌هایتان را بیدار دارید و شکم‌هایتان را لاغر کنید و از تن‌هایتان بگیرید تا بر خویشتن ببخشید.
Keep vigil at night and make your stomachs lean; and take away from your bodies so that you may be generous with it upon your souls.
حکمت ۴۵۸۶ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4586 — Night Vigilأفْضَلُ العِبادَةِ سَهَرُ العُيُونِ بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ.
برترینِ عبادت شب‌زنده‌داریِ چشم‌ها به یادِ خدای سبحان است.
The best of worship is staying awake at night in the remembrance of Allah, the Glorified.
حکمت ۴۵۸۷ — موضوع ۳۰۳ · Night VigilSaying 4587 — Night Vigilنِعْمَ عَوْنُ العِبادَةِ السَّهَرُ.
چه نیکو یاورِ عبادتی است شب‌زنده‌داری!
What a good helper of worship night vigil is!
حکمت ۴۵۸۸ — موضوع ۳۰۴ · FacilitationSaying 4588 — Facilitationاَلتَسَهُّلُ يُدِرُّ الأرْزاقَ.
آسان‌گرفتن روزی‌ها را می‌افزاید.
Facilitating [and making things easy for others] makes sustenance flow abundantly.
حکمت ۴۵۸۹ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4589 — Mode Of Conductأقْبَحُ السِّيَرِ الظُّلْمُ.
زشت‌ترینِ روش‌ها ستم است.
The most loathsome mode of conduct is inequity.
حکمت ۴۵۹۰ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4590 — Mode Of Conductبِالسِّيرَةِ العادِلَةِ يُقْهَرُ الْمُناوي.
با روشِ دادگرانه دشمنِ کینه‌توز در هم کوفته شود.
Through an equitable conduct, the adversary is overpowered.
حکمت ۴۵۹۱ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4591 — Mode Of Conductحُسْنُ السِّيرَةِ عُنْوانُ حُسْنِ السَّريرَةِ.
نیکوییِ روش نشانهٔ نیکوییِ درون است.
Good conduct is the sign of a good conscience.
حکمت ۴۵۹۲ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4592 — Mode Of Conductحُسْنُ السِّيرَةِ جَمالُ القُدْرَةِ وَ حِصْنُ الاِمْرَةِ.
نیکوییِ روش زیباییِ توانایی و دژِ فرماندهی است.
Good conduct is the beauty of power and the fortress of authority.
حکمت ۴۵۹۳ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4593 — Mode Of Conductمَنْ ساءَتْ سيرَتُهُ سَرَّتْ مَنِيَّتُهُ.
هر که روشش بد شود، مرگش شادمانی آورد.
One whose conduct is evil, his demise makes the people happy.
حکمت ۴۵۹۴ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4594 — Mode Of Conductمَنْ ساءَتْ سيرَتُهُ لَمْ يَأْمَنْ أبَداً.
هر که روشش بد شود، هرگز ایمن نباشد.
One whose conduct is evil will never be safe at any time.
حکمت ۴۵۹۵ — موضوع ۳۰۵ · Mode Of ConductSaying 4595 — Mode Of Conductوَيْلٌ لِمَنْ ساءَتْ سيرَتُهُ، وَ جارَتْ مَلَكَتُهُ وَ تَجَبَّرَ وَ اعْتَدى.
وای بر آن که روشش بد و فرماندهی‌اش دادگستر و سرکش و تجاوزکار شد!
Woe be to the one whose conduct is evil, whose authority is oppressive, and who tyrannizes and infringes upon the rights [of those who are under him].
حکمت ۴۵۹۶ — موضوع ۳۰۶ · Administrative PoliciesSaying 4596 — Administrative Policiesأصْعَبُ السِّياساتِ نَقْلُ الْعاداتِ.
دشوارترینِ سیاست‌ها تغییرِ عادت‌هاست.
The most difficult of administrative policies is the removal of habits [and customs].
حکمت ۴۵۹۷ — موضوع ۳۰۶ · Administrative PoliciesSaying 4597 — Administrative Policiesبِئْسَ السِّياسَةُ الْجَوْرُ.
چه بد سیاستی است ستم!
Tyranny is indeed an evil administrative policy.
حکمت ۴۵۹۸ — موضوع ۳۰۶ · Administrative PoliciesSaying 4598 — Administrative Policiesجَمالُ السِّياسَةِ العَدْلُ فِي الاِمْرَةِ، وَ العَفْوُ مَعَ الْقُدْرَةِ.
زیباییِ سیاست عدالت در فرماندهی و گذشت با توانایی است.
The beauty of politics is [maintaining] justice in authority and pardoning despite having power [to punish].
حکمت ۴۵۹۹ — موضوع ۳۰۶ · Administrative PoliciesSaying 4599 — Administrative Policiesحُسْنُ السِّياسَةِ قِوامُ الرَّعيَّةِ.
نیکوییِ سیاست قوامِ رعیت است.
Good administration is the mainstay of the citizenry.
حکمت ۴۶۰۰ — موضوع ۳۰۶ · Administrative PoliciesSaying 4600 — Administrative Policiesحُسْنُ السِّياسَةِ يَسْتَديمُ الرِّياسَةَ.
نیکوییِ سیاست رهبری را جاودان سازد.
Good administration makes leadership last.
