حکمت ۵۷۴۱ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5741 — Injustice And Oppressionإيّاكَ والبَغْيَ، فَإنَّهُ يُعَجِّلُ الصَّرْعَةَ، ويُحِلُّ بِالعامِلِ بِهِ العِبَـرَ.
از بغی بپرهیز، که همانا زمین‌خوردن را شتابناک سازد و اشکِ حسرت بر کسی که بدان عمل کند جاری گرداند.
Keep away from oppression, for verily it hastens one’s downfall and causes tears [of regret and sorrow] to flow from the one who acts upon it.[^1]
حکمت ۵۷۴۲ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5742 — Injustice And Oppressionإيّاكَ والظُّلْمَ، فَإنَّهُ أكْبَرُ المعَاصي، وإنَّ الظّالِمَ لَمُعاقَبٌ يَوْمَ القِيمَةِ بِظُلْمِهِ.
از ستم بپرهیز، که بزرگ‌ترین گناهان است؛ و همانا ستمگر روز قیامت به سببِ ستمش عذاب خواهد شد.
Keep away from injustice, for it is the biggest sin; and verily the unjust will surely be chastised on the Day of Resurrection because of his injustice.
حکمت ۵۷۴۳ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5743 — Injustice And Oppressionإيّاكَ والبَغْيَ، فَإنَّ الباغِيَ يُعَجِّلُ اللّهُ لَهُ النِّقْمَةَ، ويُحِلُّ بِهِ المَثُلاتِ.
از بغی بپرهیز، که خداوند برای ستمگر کیفر را زود کند و عقوبت‌های عبرت‌انگیز بر او فرود آورد.
Keep away from oppression, for verily Allah hastens chastisement for the oppressor and sends down exemplary punishments upon him.
حکمت ۵۷۴۴ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5744 — Injustice And Oppressionإيّاكُمْ وصَـرَعاتِ البَغْيِ، وفَضَحاتِ الغَدْرِ، وإثارَةَ كامِنِ الشَّـرِّ المُذَمِّمِ.
از زمین‌خوردن‌های بغی، رسوایی‌های خیانت، و برانگیختنِ بدیِ نهفتهٔ نکوهیده بپرهیزید.
Avoid the downfalls of transgression, the disgraces of deceit and the arousal of the latent, reprehensible evil.
حکمت ۵۷۴۵ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5745 — Injustice And Oppressionألا وإنَّ الظُّلْمَ ثَلاثَةٌ: فَظُلْمٌ لايُغْفَرُ، وظُلْمٌ لايُتْرَكُ، وظُلْمٌ مَغْفُورٌ لايُطْلَبُ، فَأمّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذي لايُغْفَرُ، فَالشِّـرْكُ باللّهِ لِقَوْلِهِ تَعالى: ﴿إنَّ اللّهَ لايَغْفِرُ أنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ ويَغْفِرُ مادُونَ ذلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشاءُ﴾ وأمَّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذي يُغْفَرُ، فَظُلْمُ المَرْءِ لِنَفْسِهِ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ الهَناتِ، وأمَّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذي لايُتْـرَكُ، فَظُلْمُ العِبادِ بَعْضِهِمْ بَعْضاً، اَلعِقابُ هُنالِكَ شَديْدٌ لَيْسَ جَرْحاً بِالمُدى، وَلا ضَرْباً بِالسِّياطِ، ولكِنَّهُ ما يُسْتَصْغَرُ ذلِكَ مَعَهُ.
آگاه باش که ستم سه گونه است: ستمی که آمرزیده نشود، ستمی که واگذارده نشود، و ستمی که آمرزیده شود و طلبیده نگردد. اما ستمی که آمرزیده نشود، شرک به خداست، چنان‌که فرمود: «همانا خداوند نمی‌آمرزد که با او شریکی برگزیده شود، و جز آن را برای هر که بخواهد می‌آمرزد». و اما ستمی که آمرزیده شود، ستمِ آدمی بر خویشتن در برخی لغزش‌های کوچک است. و اما ستمی که واگذارده نشود، ستمِ بندگان به یکدیگر است؛ که عقوبتش سخت است، نه زخم زدن به تیغ و نه زدن به تازیانه، بلکه عقوبتی است که در برابر آن این‌ها اندک شمارند.
Know that injustice is of three kinds: the injustice that is not forgiven, the injustice that is not left [unquestioned], and the injustice that is forgiven without being questioned. As for the injustice that is not forgiven, it is the ascribing of partners to Allah as He, the Most High, says: ‘Verily Allah does not forgive that any partner should be ascribed to Him, but He forgives anything besides that to whomever He wishes’. As for the injustice that is forgiven, it is the injustice of a person to himself in committing some small sins. And as for the injustice that is not left unquestioned, it is the injustice of the people on one another. In this case the punishment is severe, not [simply] wounding with knives or striking with whips, rather it is a punishment in comparison to which all this seems small.
حکمت ۵۷۴۶ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5746 — Injustice And Oppressionأقْبَحُ الشِّيَمِ العُدْوانُ.
زشت‌ترین خوی‌ها تجاوزورزی است.
The most loathsome of traits is aggression.
حکمت ۵۷۴۷ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5747 — Injustice And Oppressionأعْجَلُ شَيْء صَرْعَةً اَلبَغْيُ.
شتابناک‌ترین زمین‌خوردن از آنِ بغی است.
The quickest thing is the downfall of an oppressor.
حکمت ۵۷۴۸ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5748 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلأَمُ البَغْيِ عِنْدَ القُدْرَةِ.
پلیدترین ستم، ستم‌ورزی در هنگامِ قدرت‌مندی است.
The vilest oppression is [that which is practiced] when one has power.
حکمت ۵۷۴۹ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5749 — Injustice And Oppressionأفْحَشُ البَغْيِ اَلبَغْيُ عَلَى الألاّفِ.
زشت‌ترین بغی، ستم بر یاران است.
The vilest transgression is transgression against the intimate [friends].
حکمت ۵۷۵۰ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5750 — Injustice And Oppressionأقْبَحُ الظُّلْمِ مَنْعُكَ حُقُوقَ اللّهِ.
زشت‌ترین ستم، بازداشتنِ حقوقِ خداست از سوی تو.
The most loathsome injustice is your withholding the rights of Allah.
حکمت ۵۷۵۱ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5751 — Injustice And Oppressionأجْوَرُ النّاسِ مَنْ ظَلَمَ مَنْ أنْصَفَهُ.
ستمگرترین مردم کسی است که بر آن کس ستم کند که با او انصاف ورزیده است.
The most tyrannical person is he who oppresses the one who is fair to him.
حکمت ۵۷۵۲ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5752 — Injustice And Oppressionأبْلَغُ ما تُسْتَجْلَبُ بِهِ النِّقْمَةُ اَلبَغْيُ، وكُفْرُ النِّعْمَةِ.
رساترین چیزی که کیفر بدان جلب شود، بغی و ناسپاسیِ نعمت است.
The actions that are most effective in bringing chastisement are oppression and ingratitude for blessings.
حکمت ۵۷۵۳ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5753 — Injustice And Oppressionإنَّ أسْـرَعَ الشَّـرِّ عِقاباً الظُّلْمُ.
همانا زودترین عقوبتِ شرّ، از آنِ ستم است.
Verily the evil that brings the quickest retribution is injustice.
حکمت ۵۷۵۴ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5754 — Injustice And Oppressionإنَّ القُبْحَ فِي الظُّلْمِ بِقَدْرِ الحُسْنِ فِي العَدْلِ.
همانا زشتی در ستم، به اندازهٔ زیبایی در عدل است.
Indeed the ugliness in injustice is equivalent to the beauty in justice.
حکمت ۵۷۵۵ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5755 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلظُّلْمُ عِقابٌ.
ستم، عقوبت است.
Injustice is [the cause of divine] punishment.
حکمت ۵۷۵۶ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5756 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلبَغْيُ يَسْلُبُ النِّعْمَةَ.
بغی نعمت را می‌رباید.
Oppression takes away blessing.
حکمت ۵۷۵۷ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5757 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلظُّلْمُ يَجْلِبُ النِّقْمَةَ.
ستم، کیفر را فرا می‌خواند.
Injustice brings [divine wrath and] chastisement.
حکمت ۵۷۵۸ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5758 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلظُّلْمُ وَخيمُ العاقِبَةِ.
ستم، فرجامی ناگوار دارد.
Injustice has adverse consequences.
حکمت ۵۷۵۹ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5759 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلبَغْيُ يُزيلُ النِّعَمَ.
بغی نعمت‌ها را برمی‌دارد.
Oppression puts an end to blessings.
حکمت ۵۷۶۰ — موضوع ۳۸۲ · Injustice And OppressionSaying 5760 — Injustice And Oppressionاَلظُّلْمُ يَطْرُدُ النِّعَمَ.
ستم، نعمت‌ها را می‌راند.
Injustice drives away blessings.
