حکمت ۶۰۸۱ — موضوع ۳۹۸ · ConceitSaying 6081 — Conceitإيّاكَ أنْ تَسْتَكْبِرَ مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ غَيْرِكَ ما تَسْتَصْغِرُهُ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ، أو تَسْتَكْثِرَ مِنْ طاعَتِكَ ما تَسْتَقِلُّهُ مِنْ غَيْرِكَ.
مبادا گناهِ دیگران را بزرگ شماری در حالی که از خودت کوچکش می‌بینی، یا عبادتِ خود را بسیار شماری در حالی که از دیگری اندکش می‌بینی.
Be cautious not to consider the sin of others as great while you deem it to be small [when it comes] from yourself, or to consider your worship as abundant while you deem the same to be less when performed by others.
حکمت ۶۰۸۲ — موضوع ۳۹۹ · The Self-Admiring OneSaying 6082 — The Self-Admiring Oneاَلمُعْجِبُ لاعَقْلَ لَهُ.
خودپسند را خِرَدی نیست.
The self-admiring one has no intelligence.
حکمت ۶۰۸۳ — موضوع ۳۹۹ · The Self-Admiring OneSaying 6083 — The Self-Admiring Oneلَيْسَ لِمُعْجِب رَأيٌ.
خودپسند را رأیی نیست.
The self-admiring one has no [valid] opinion [as he never consults with anyone else].
حکمت ۶۰۸۴ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6084 — Inabilityاَلْعَجْزُ مَعَ لُزُومِ الخَيْـرِ خَيْـرٌ مِنَ القُدْرَةِ مَعَ رُكُوبِ الشَّـرِّ.
ناتوانی با پایبندیِ خیر بهتر است از توانایی با ارتکابِ شر.
Inability accompanied by espousing goodness is better than power accompanied by embarking on evil.
حکمت ۶۰۸۵ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6085 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ إضاعَةٌ.
ناتوانی ضایع‌کردن است.
Inability is waste.
حکمت ۶۰۸۶ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6086 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ مَضْيَعَةٌ.
ناتوانی تباه‌کردن است.
Inability is ruin.
حکمت ۶۰۸۷ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6087 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ سَبَبُ التَّضْييعِ.
ناتوانی سببِ ضایع‌کردن است.
Inability is a cause of loss.
حکمت ۶۰۸۸ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6088 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ شَـرُّ مَطِيَّة.
ناتوانی بدترینِ سواری است.
Inability is the worst riding mount.
حکمت ۶۰۸۹ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6089 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ يُثْمِرُ الهَلَكَةَ.
ناتوانی هلاکت میوه دهد.
Inability bears the fruit of destruction.
حکمت ۶۰۹۰ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6090 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ يُطْمِعُ الأَعْداءَ.
ناتوانی دشمنان را طمع دهد.
Inability makes enemies covetous.
حکمت ۶۰۹۱ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6091 — Inabilityثَمَرَةُ العَجْزِ فَوْتُ الطَّلَبِ.
میوهٔ ناتوانی از دست رفتنِ خواسته است.
The fruit of inability is losing what is sought.
حکمت ۶۰۹۲ — موضوع ۴۰۰ · InabilitySaying 6092 — Inabilityاَلعَجْزُ اِشْتِغالُكَ بِالمَضْمُونِ لَكَ عَنِ المَفْرُوضِ عَلَيْكَ وتَرْكُ القَناعَةِ بِما أُوتيتَ.
ناتوانی آن است که به آنچه برایت تضمین شده بپردازی و از آنچه بر تو فریضه است باز مانی و به آنچه داده شده‌ای قناعت نکنی.
Inability [and failure] is [in] occupying yourself with that which has been guaranteed for you instead of that which has been made obligatory upon you, and abandoning contentment with what you have been given.
حکمت ۶۰۹۳ — موضوع ۴۰۱ · The PowerlessSaying 6093 — The Powerlessأعْجَزُ النّاسِ آمَنُهُمْ لِوُقُوعِ الحَوادِثِ، وهُجُومِ الأجَلِ.
ناتوان‌ترینِ مردم کسانی‌اند که خود را از حوادثِ ناگهانی و هجومِ اجل در امان‌تر می‌پندارند.
The most powerless of people are those who consider themselves the safest from sudden events and [from] the onslaught of their deaths.
حکمت ۶۰۹۴ — موضوع ۴۰۱ · The PowerlessSaying 6094 — The Powerlessرُبَّما أدْرَكَ العاجِزُ حاجَتَهُ.
گاه ناتوان به حاجتش رسد.
Sometimes the powerless one acquires what he needs.
حکمت ۶۰۹۵ — موضوع ۴۰۲ · The DerriereSaying 6095 — The Derriereاَلعَجيزَةُ أحَدُ الوَجْهَيْنِ.
عَجیزه (سرِ کار) یکی از دو رویه است.
The derriere is one of the two faces.
حکمت ۶۰۹۶ — موضوع ۴۰۳ · Haste And The HastySaying 6096 — Haste And The Hastyاَلعَجَلَةُ مَذْمُومَةٌ في كُلِّ أمْر إلاّ فيما يَدْفَعُ الشَّـرَّ.
شتاب در هر کاری نکوهیده است، جز در آنچه بدی را دفع کند.
Haste is dispraised in every affair except in that which repels evil.
حکمت ۶۰۹۷ — موضوع ۴۰۳ · Haste And The HastySaying 6097 — Haste And The Hastyاِحْذَرُوا العَجَلَةَ فَإنَّها تُثْمِرُ النَّدامَةَ.
از شتاب بپرهیزید، که همانا میوهٔ پشیمانی بخشد.
Beware of haste, for indeed it bears the fruit of regret.
حکمت ۶۰۹۸ — موضوع ۴۰۳ · Haste And The HastySaying 6098 — Haste And The Hastyإيّاكَ والعَجَلَ، فَإنَّهُ عُنْوانُ الفَوْتِ والنَّدَمِ.
از شتاب بپرهیز، که همانا نشانهٔ زیان و پشیمانی است.
Keep away from haste, for verily it is the symbol of loss and regret.
حکمت ۶۰۹۹ — موضوع ۴۰۳ · Haste And The HastySaying 6099 — Haste And The Hastyإيّاكَ والعَجَلَ فَإنَّهُ مَقْرُونٌ بِالعِثارِ.
از شتاب بپرهیز، که همانا با لغزش قرین است.
Keep away from haste, for surely it is associated with error.
حکمت ۶۱۰۰ — موضوع ۴۰۳ · Haste And The HastySaying 6100 — Haste And The Hastyاَلعَجَلُ (العُجْبُ) يُوجِبُ العِثارَ.
شتاب (یا خودپسندی) لغزش آورد.
Haste (or conceit) leads to error.
