اِسْتَعِنْ عَلَى العَدْلِ بِحُسْنِ النِّيَّةِ فِي الرَّعيَّةِ، وقِلَّةِ الطَّمَعِ، وكَثْرَةِ الوَرَعِ.
در راهِ عدل، از نیتِ نیکو نسبت به رعیت، کم‌طمعی و بسیار‌پرهیزگاری یاری جوی.
Have recourse to justice with good intention for the populace, reduced covetousness and increased piety.
أسْنَى المَواهِبِ العَدْلُ.
بلندمرتبه‌ترین بخشش‌ها عدل است.
The loftiest of endowments is justice.
أحْسَنُ العَدْلِ نُصْرَةُ المَظْلُومِ.
به‌ترین عدل یاریِ مظلوم است.
The best [form of] justice is assisting the oppressed.
أعْدَلُ النّاسِ مَنْ أنْصَفَ مَنْ ظَلَمَهُ.
دادگرترین مردم کسی است که با آن کس که بر او ستم کرده انصاف ورزیده است.
The most just of all people is he who is equitable to the one who has oppressed him.
إنَّ مِنَ العَدْلِ أنْ تُنْصِفَ فِي الحُكْمِ، وتَجْتَنِبَ الظُّلْمَةَ.
همانا در داوری انصاف ورزیدن و از ستم دوری‌جستن از عدل است.
Verily being fair in [your] ruling and eschewing oppression are part of justice.
إنَّ العَدْلَ ميزانُ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ الَّذي وَضَعَهُ فِي الخَلْقِ، ونَصَبَهُ لإقامَةِ الحَقِّ، فَلا تُخالِفْهُ في ميزانِهِ، ولاتُعارِضْهُ في سُلْطانِهِ.
همانا عدل ترازوی خداوند سبحان است که در میانِ آفریدگان نهاد و برای برپاییِ حق برپا داشت؛ پس در ترازوی او مخالفت مکن و در فرمانروایی‌اش رویارویی منما.
Indeed justice is the scale of Allah, the Glorified, which He has placed among the creation and installed for the establishment of truth; so do not oppose Him in His scale and do not contradict Him in His authority.
إنَّ اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ أمَرَ بِالعَدْلِ والإحْسانِ، ونَهى عَنِ الفَحْشاءِ والظُّلْمِ.
همانا خداوند سبحان به عدل و نیکوکاری فرمان داده و از زشتی و ستم بازداشته است.
Verily Allah, the Glorified, has enjoined justice and benevolence and has forbidden indecency and injustice.
اَلعَدْلُ مَأْلُوفٌ، اَلجَوْرُ عَسُوفٌ.
عدل مأنوس است، ستم عسرت‌زا.
Justice is brings harmony while oppression causes deviation.
اَلقِسْطُ رُوحُ الشَّهادَةِ.
داد (قسط) روحِ گواهی است.
Justice is the soul of testimony.
اَلعَدْلُ حَياةُ الأحْكامِ.
عدل زندگیِ احکام است.
Justice is the life of decrees.
اَلقِسْطُ خَيْـرُ الشَّهادَةِ.
داد به‌ترین گواهی است.
Justice is the best testimony.
اَلْعَدْلُ يُصْلِحُ البَريَّةَ.
عدل مردمان را اصلاح کند.
Justice reforms the people.
اَلعَدْلُ فَضيلَةُ السُّلْطانِ.
عدل فضیلتِ زمامدار است.
Justice is a merit for the ruler.
اَلعَدْلُ أغْنَى الغَناءِ.
عدل توانگرترین توانگری است.
Justice is the greatest of riches.
اَلعَدْلُ إنْصافٌ.
عدل انصاف است.
Justice is equity.
اَلعَدْلُ مِلاكٌ، اَلجَوْرُ هَلاكٌ.
عدل بنیاد است، ستم نابودی.
Justice is a foundation [for a healthy society]; oppression is destruction.
اَلعادِلُ راع يَنْتَظِرُ أحَدَ الجَزائَيْنِ (أحْسَنَ الجزاعين).
دادگر چوپانی است که یکی از دو پاداش (به‌ترینِ پاداش‌ها) را انتظار می‌کشد.
The just [ruler] is a custodian who awaits one of the two rewards (or the better of the two rewards).
أعْدَلُ الخَلْقِ أقْصاهُمْ بِالحَقِّ.
دادگرترینِ آفریدگان کسی است که به حق داوری کند.
The most just among the creation is one who judges best according to the truth.
أعْدَلُ النّاسِ مَنْ أنْصَفَ عَنْ قُوَّة، وأعْظَمُهُمْ حِلْماً مَنْ حَلُمَ عَنْ قُدْرَة.
دادگرترین مردم کسی است که با توانمندی انصاف ورزد، و بردبارترین‌شان کسی است که با اقتدار بخشاید.
The most just of all people is he who is equitable despite having power, and the one who has the greatest clemency is he who is clement despite having authority.
