اصلاحِ رعیت عدل است.
The uprightness [and betterment] of the populace is [achieved through] justice.

عَليْكَ بِالعَدْلِ في الصَّديقِ، والعَدُوِّ،وَ القَصْدِ فِي الفَقْرِ وَالغِنى.
بر توست عدل با دوست و دشمن، و میانه‌روی در تهیدستی و توانگری.
You must be just with [both] friend and foe, and moderate in [both] poverty and wealth.
غايَةُ العَدْلِ أنْ يَعْدِلَ المَرْءُ في نَفْسِهِ.
غایتِ عدل آن است که آدمی با خویشتن دادگری کند.
The pinnacle of justice is for a person to be just with himself.
فِي العَدْلِ الإحْسانُ.
در عدل نیکوکاری است.
In justice there is benevolence.
فِي العَدْلِ صَلاحُ البَرِيَّةِ.
در عدل اصلاحِ مردمان است.
In justice there is betterment of the people.
فِي العَدْلِ الاِقْتِداءُ بِسُنَّةِ اللّهِ وثَباتُ الدُّوَلِ.
در عدل پیروی از سنتِ خدا و استواریِ دولت‌هاست.
Following the way of Allah and the stability of nations lies in justice
فِي العَدْلِ سَعَةٌ، ومَنْ ضاقَ عَلَيْهِ العَدْلُ فَالجَوْرُ عَلَيْهِ أضْيَقُ.
در عدل گشایش است؛ و هر که عدل بر او تنگ آید، ستم بر او تنگ‌تر باشد.
In justice there is comfort; and one for whom justice is beleaguering, then oppression will be more beleaguering [and difficult] for him.
مِنْ لَوازِمِ العَدْلِ اَلتَّناهي عَنِ الظُّلْمِ.
از لوازمِ عدل بازداشتن از ستم است.
From the exigencies of justice is the forbidding of oppression.
ما عُمِرَتِ البُلْدانُ بِمِثْلِ العَدْلِ.
هیچ‌چیز سرزمین‌ها را چون عدل آباد نکرد.
Nothing brings prosperity to the lands like justice.
لا تُؤْيِسِ الضُّعَفاءَ مِنْ عَدْلِكَ.
ضعیفان را از عدلت مأیوس مساز.
Do not let the weak lose hope in your justice.
لاعَدْلَ أفْضَلُ مِنْ رَدِّ المَظالِمِ.
هیچ عدلی به‌تر از بازگرداندنِ حقِّ مظلومان نیست.
There is no justice better than returning the right of the oppressed.
اَلعَدْلُ حَياةٌ.
عدل زندگی است.
Justice is life.
اَلعَدْلُ خَيْـرُ الحُكْمِ.
عدل به‌ترین داوری است.
Justice is the best judgment.
اَلعَدْلُ فَوْزٌ وكَرامَةٌ (مكانَةٌ).
عدل رستگاری و ارجمندی است.
Justice is [a means of attaining]) success and dignity.
اَلعَدْلُ قِوامُ الرَّعِيَّةِ (البَـرِيَّةِ).
عدل استوانهٔ رعیت (یا آفریدگان) است.

العَدْلُ فَضيلَةُ السُّلْطانِ.

اَلعَدْلُ نِظامُ الإمْرَةِ.

Justice relieves the one who acts upon it from being shackled by the rights of others.
