حکمت ۶۴۶۱ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6461 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلمُبادَرَةُ إلى العَفْوِ مِنْ أخْلاقِ الكِرامِ.

شتاب در گذشت، از اخلاق کریمان است.

Hastening to forgive is from the morals of the honourable.

حکمت ۶۴۶۲ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6462 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلعَفْوُ أعْظَمُ الفَضِيلَتَيْنِ.

گذشت بزرگ‌ترینِ دو فضیلت است.

Forgiveness is the greater of the two virtues.

حکمت ۶۴۶۳ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6463 — Forgiveness And Pardon

أُعْفُ تُنْصَرْ.

ببخش تا یاری شوی.

Forgive and you will be supported.

حکمت ۶۴۶۴ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6464 — Forgiveness And Pardon

أقِلْ تُقَلْ.

ببخشای تا از تو بگذرند.

Pardon and you will be pardoned.

حکمت ۶۴۶۵ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6465 — Forgiveness And Pardon

أحْسِنْ إلى مَنْ أساءَ إلَيْكَ، واعْفُ عَمَّنْ جَنى عَلَيْكَ.

به کسی که به تو بدی کرد نیکی کن و هر که بر تو ستم کرد ببخش.

Do good to the one who does evil to you and forgive the one who wrongs you.

حکمت ۶۴۶۶ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6466 — Forgiveness And Pardon

ِاغْتَفِرْ زَلَّةَ صَديقِكَ، يُزَكِّكَ عَدُوُّكَ.

لغزش دوستت را ببخش تا دشمنت به پاکی‌ات گواهی دهد.

Forgive the mistake of your friend, [and] your enemy will consider you to be virtuous.

حکمت ۶۴۶۷ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6467 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اِغْتَفِرْ ما أغْضَبَكَ لِما أرْضاكَ.

به خاطر آنچه خشنودت می‌کند، از آنچه خشمگینت می‌سازد درگذر.

Forgive that which angers you for the sake of that which pleases you.

حکمت ۶۴۶۸ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6468 — Forgiveness And Pardon

أقِلِ العَثْرَةَ، وادْرَأِ الحَدَّ، وتَجاوَزْ عَمّا لَمْ يُصَرَّحْ لَكَ بِهِ.

لغزش‌ها را ببخشای و از حدود درگذر و از آنچه برایت آشکار نشده چشم‌پوشی کن.

Pardon wrongdoings, stave off punishment and overlook that which has not become evident for you.

حکمت ۶۴۶۹ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6469 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اِقْبَلْ أعْذارَ النّاسِ، تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِإخائِهِمْ، والقَهُمْ بِالبِشْرِ، تُمِتْ أضْغانَهُمْ.

عذر مردم را بپذیر تا از برادری‌شان برخوردار شوی، و با گشاده‌رویی با آنان روبه‌رو شو تا کینه‌هایشان بمیرد.

Accept the excuses of people and you will enjoy their brotherhood; meet them with cheerfulness and you will cause their malice [and grudges against you] to die away.

حکمت ۶۴۷۰ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6470 — Forgiveness And Pardon

أقيلُوا ذَوِى المُروُءاتِ عَثَراتِهِمْ، فَما يَعْثِرُ مِنْهُمْ عاثِرٌ إلاّ ويَدُ اللّهِ تَرْفَعُهُ.

از بزرگواران لغزش‌هایشان را ببخشایید که هیچ‌یک از ایشان نمی‌لغزد، مگر آن‌که دست خدا بلندش کند.

Pardon the errors of the magnanimous, for none of them slips but that the Hand of Allah lifts him [back] up.

حکمت ۶۴۷۱ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6471 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلعَفْوُ أحْسَنُ الإحْسانِ.

گذشت بهترینِ احسان است.

Forgiveness is the best of favours.

حکمت ۶۴۷۲ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6472 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلعَفْوُ زَكاةُ الظَّفَرِ.

گذشت زکات پیروزی است.

Forgiveness is the charity of triumph.

حکمت ۶۴۷۳ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6473 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلمَعْذَرَةُ بُرْهانُ العَقْلِ.

گذشت، برهان خرد است.

Forgiveness is the evidence of intelligence.

حکمت ۶۴۷۴ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6474 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلعَفْوُ عُنْوانُ النُّبْلِ.

گذشت نشان بزرگواری است.

Forgiveness is the symbol of nobility.

حکمت ۶۴۷۵ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6475 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلعَفْوُ تاجُ المَكارِمِ.

گذشت تاج بزرگواری‌هاست.

Forgiveness is the crown of high morals.

حکمت ۶۴۷۶ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6476 — Forgiveness And Pardon

رُبَّ ذَنْب مِقْدارُُ العُقُوبَةِ عَلَيْهِ إعْلامُ المُذْنِبِ بِهِ.

بسا گناهی که کیفرش همین باشد که گنهکار را از آن آگاه کنند.

Many a sin is such that the [appropriate] degree of punishment for it is informing the sinner of it.

حکمت ۶۴۷۷ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6477 — Forgiveness And Pardon

لاتُصِرَّ عَلى ما يُعَقِّبُ الإثْمَ.

بر آنچه گناه در پی دارد پافشاری مکن.

Do not persist in that [action] which is followed by sin.

حکمت ۶۴۷۸ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6478 — Forgiveness And Pardon

اَلْعَفْوُ مَعَ القُدْرَةِ جُنَّةٌ مِنْ عَذابِ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ.

گذشت در عین قدرت، سپری در برابر عذاب خداست.

Forgiveness despite [having the] power [to exact revenge] is a shield from the punishment of Allah, the Glorified.

حکمت ۶۴۷۹ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6479 — Forgiveness And Pardon

إذا جُنِيَ عَلَيْكَ فَاغْتَفِرْ.

هر گاه بر تو ستم رفت، ببخش.

When you have been wronged, forgive.

حکمت ۶۴۸۰ — گذشت و بخشایشSaying 6480 — Forgiveness And Pardon

بِالعَفْوِ تُسْتَنْزَلُ الرَّحْمَةُ.

با گذشت، رحمت فرود می‌آید.

Through forgiveness [of others] divine mercy is invoked.
