حکمت ۷۱۸۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7181 — Actions And Deedsاِشْتِغالُ النَّفْسِ بِما لايَصْحَبُها بَعْدَ المَوْتِ مِنْ أكْثَرِ الوَهْنِ.
مشغول‌داشتنِ نفس به آنچه پس از مرگ با تو همراه نیست، از بزرگ‌ترین ناتوانی است.
Busying oneself with that which will not accompany you after death is from the greatest weakness.
حکمت ۷۱۸۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7182 — Actions And Deedsاَلْعَمَلُ بِالعِلْمِ مِنْ تَمامِ النِّعْمَةِ.
عمل به دانش از کمالِ نعمت است.
Acting upon [one’s] knowledge is from the perfection of blessings.
حکمت ۷۱۸۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7183 — Actions And Deedsاَلأقاويلُ مَحْفُوظَةٌ، والسَّرائِرُ مَبْلُوَّةٌ، وكُلُّ نَفْس بِما كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ.
سخنان حفظ‌شده‌اند و رازها آشکار خواهند شد و هر نفس به آنچه کار کرده رهن است.
Utterances are recorded, secrets are [going to be] revealed and every soul is held hostage by what it has earned.
حکمت ۷۱۸۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7184 — Actions And Deedsاَلقَرينُ الصّالِحُ هُوَ العَمَلُ الصّالِحُ.
هم‌صنِ صالح، عملِ صالح است.
The [most] righteous companion is righteous action.
حکمت ۷۱۸۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7185 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلْ تَدَّحِرْ.
کار کن تا [برای آخرت] انباشته کنی.
Act [in this world] so that you can store [provisions for the Hereafter].
حکمت ۷۱۸۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7186 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلْ بِالعِلْمِ تُدْرِكْ غُنْماً.
به دانش عمل کن تا سودی به دست آوری.
Act upon [your] knowledge and you will attain [great] benefit.
حکمت ۷۱۸۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7187 — Actions And Deedsاِجْعَلْ رَفيقَكَ عَمَلَكَ، وعَدُوَّكَ أمَلَكَ.
یار خودت را عملِ خود و دشمن خود را آرزوهای خود گردان.
Make your [righteous] action your friend your [false] aspiration your enemy.
حکمت ۷۱۸۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7188 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلْ عَمَلَ مَنْ يَعْلَمُ أنَّ اللّهَ مُجازيِهِ بِإسائَتِهِ وإحْسانِهِ.
چون کسی که می‌داند خداوند او را به بدی و نیکی‌اش پاداش خواهد داد، عمل کن.
Act like one who knows that Allah will surely recompense him for his evil and good deeds.
حکمت ۷۱۸۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7189 — Actions And Deedsاِسْعَ في كَدْحِكَ، ولاتَكُنْ خازِناً لِغَيْرِكَ.
در کار و کوشش خود بذلِ جهد کن و نگهبانِ خزانۀ دیگران مباش.
Strive hard in your work and do not be a storekeeper for others.
حکمت ۷۱۹۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7190 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلُوا بِالعِلْمِ تَسْعَدُوا.
به دانش عمل کنید تا خوشبخت شوید.
Act upon [your] knowledge and you will be felicitous.
حکمت ۷۱۹۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7191 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلُوا إذا عَلِمْتُمْ.
چون دانستید عمل کنید.
When you know, act.
حکمت ۷۱۹۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7192 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلُوا، واَلْعَمَلُ يَنْفَعُ، والدُّعاءُ يُسْمَعُ، والتَّوْبَةُ تُرْفَعُ.
عمل کنید در حالی که عمل سودمند است و دعا شنیده می‌شود و توبه پذیرفته می‌شود.
Perform good deeds while [you are in place where] deeds benefit, supplication is answered and repentance is raised [and accepted].
حکمت ۷۱۹۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7193 — Actions And Deedsأعْرِضُوا عَنْ كُلِّ عَمَل بِكُمْ غِنًى عَنْهُ، واشْغَلُوا أنْفُسَكُمْ مِنْ أمْرِ الآخِرَةِ بِما لابُدَّ لَكُمْ عَنْهُ.
از هر عملی که به آن نیاز نیست روی‌گردان شوید و خود را به کارِ آخرت — که حتماً با آن روبه‌رو خواهید شد — مشغول سازید.
Eschew every action that you are in no need of and busy yourself with the affair of the Hereafter, which you must [eventually] face.
حکمت ۷۱۹۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7194 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلُوا لِيَوْم تُذْخَرُ لَهُ الذَّخائِرُ، وتُبْلى فيهِ السَّرائِرُ.
برای روزی بسازید که برای آن توشه‌ها انباشته شده و در آن رازها آشکار شود.
Work for the day for which the provisions have been stored and in which the secrets will be revealed.
حکمت ۷۱۹۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7195 — Actions And Deedsاِعْمَلُوا وأنْتُمْ في آوِنَةِ البَقاءِ، والصُّحُفُ مَنْشُورَةٌ، والتَّوْبَةُ مَبْسُوطَةٌ، والمُدْبِرُ يُدْعى، والمُسِيءُ يُرْجى قَبْلَ أنْ يَخْمُدَ العَمَلُ، ويَنْقَطِعَ المَهَلُ، وَتَنْقَضِيَ المُدَّةُ، ويُسَدَّ بابُ التَّوْبَةِ.
عمل کنید در حالی که هنوز در فرصتِ بقا هستید و دفترها گشوده‌اند و توبه در حالِ پذیرش است و گمراه فراخوانده می‌شود و گنهکار امید دارد؛ پیش از آنکه عمل خاموش شود و مهلت قطع گردد و مدت سر آید و درِ توبه بسته شود.
Work while you are still alive, and while the books are [still] open, repentance is [still] accepted, the one who has strayed is [still] called [back], and the sinner is [still] given hope [of forgiveness]; before action abates, time expires, life ends and the door of repentance is closed.
حکمت ۷۱۹۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7196 — Actions And Deedsاِحْذَرْ كُلَّ عَمَل إذا سُئِلَ عَنْهُ صاحِبُهُ، اِسْتَحْيى مِنْهُ وأنْكَرَهُ.
از هر عملی که چون صاحبش از آن پرسیده شود، خجالت بکشد و انکارش کند، بپرهیز.
Be wary of every action which, when its doer is asked about it, he feels ashamed and denies it.
حکمت ۷۱۹۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7197 — Actions And Deedsاِحْذَرْ مِنْ كُلِّ عَمَل يُعْمَلُ فِي السِّـرِّ، ويُسْتَحْيى مِنْهُ فِي العَلانِيَةِ.
از هر عملی که در پنهان انجام می‌شود و در آشکارا از آن شرم می‌شود، بپرهیز.
Be wary of every action that is done in private and causes embarrassment in public.
حکمت ۷۱۹۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7198 — Actions And Deedsاِحْذَرْ كُلَّ عَمَل يَرْضاهُ عامِلُهُ لِنَفْسِهِ، ويَكْرَهُهُ لِعامَّةِ المُسْلِمينَ.
از هر عملی که انجام‌دهنده‌اش برای خودش پسند دارد ولی برای عمومِ مسلمانان ناپسند است، بپرهیز.
Be wary of every action that the doer is pleased to perform himself but hates Muslims at large to perform.
حکمت ۷۱۹۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7199 — Actions And Deedsاِحْذَرُوا سُوءَ الأعْمالِ، وغُرُورَ الآمال، ونَفادَ الأمَلِ، وهُجُومَ الأجَلِ.
از بدیِ اعمال، فریبِ آرزوها، به سرانجام رسیدنِ امید، و هجومِ اجل بپرهیزید.
Be wary of bad deeds, deceptive aspirations, loss of hope and the sudden coming of death.
حکمت ۷۲۰۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7200 — Actions And Deedsإيّاكَ وفِعْلَ القَبِيحِ، فَإنَّهُ يُقَبِّحُ ذِكْرَكَ، ويُكَثِّرُ وِزْرَكَ.
از انجامِ زشتی بپرهیز، که همانا یادِ تو را زشت کند و بارِ گناهِ تو را بزرگ گرداند.
You must keep away from evil action, for indeed it dishonours your reputation and increases your burden.
