حکمت ۷۲۸۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7281 — Actions And Deedsشَتّانَ بَيْنَ عَمَل تَذْهَبُ لَذَّتُهُ وتَبْقى تَبِعَتُهُ، وبَيْنَ عَمَل تَذْهَبُ مَؤُنَتُهُ وتَبْقى مَثُوبَتُهُ.
چه بسیار تفاوت میانِ عملی که لذتش رود و پیامدش بماند و عملی که رنجش رود و پاداشش بماند.
There is a great difference between the action whose pleasure wanes but its [ill] effects remain and the action whose hardship disappears but its reward remains.
حکمت ۷۲۸۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7282 — Actions And Deedsصَلاحُ العَمَلِ بِصَلاحِ النِّيَّةِ.
صلاحِ عمل به صلاحِ نیت است.
The goodness of an action is [gauged] by the righteousness of [its] intention.
حکمت ۷۲۸۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7283 — Actions And Deedsصَوابُ الفِعْلِ يُزَيِّنُ الرَّجُلَ.
درستیِ کردار مرد را زیبا کند.
The correctness of action [and behaviour] beautifies a person.
حکمت ۷۲۸۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7284 — Actions And Deedsصِفَتانِ لايَقْبَلُ اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ الأعْمالَ إلاّ بِهِما: التُّقى، وَالإخْلاصُ.
دو صفتی است که خداوند سبحان اعمال را جز به آن‌ها نمی‌پذیرد: تقوا و اخلاص.
The two qualities without which Allah, the Glorified, does not accept any deeds are: piety and sincerity.
حکمت ۷۲۸۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7285 — Actions And Deedsطَلَبُ المَراتِبِ والدَّرَجاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَل جَهْلٌ.
طلبِ مراتب و درجه‌ها بدونِ عمل، جهل است.
Seeking lofty stations and ranks without any action is folly.
حکمت ۷۲۸۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7286 — Actions And Deedsعَلَيْكَ بِصالِحِ العَمَلِ فَإنَّهُ الزّادُ إلَى الجَنَّةِ.
بر عملِ صالح باش، که همانا توشهٔ به سوی بهشت است.
You must undertake righteous actions for indeed it is the provision that leads to Paradise.
حکمت ۷۲۸۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7287 — Actions And Deedsعَلَيْكَ بِإدْمانِ العَمَلِ فِي النِّشاطِ والكَسَلِ.
بر پایستگیِ عمل در نشاط و تنبلی باش.
You must persevere in your actions in times of activeness and laziness.
حکمت ۷۲۸۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7288 — Actions And Deedsعَلَيْكُمْ بِأعْمالِ الخَيْـرِ فَتَبادَرُوها، وَلايَكُنْ غَيْرُكُمْ أحَقَّ بِها مِنْكُمْ.
بر اعمالِ نیکی باش و بدان شتاب کنید و مبادا غیرِ شما به آن‌ها سزاوارتر از شما باشند.
You must perform virtuous actions and hasten towards them, and let not others become more worthy of them than you.
حکمت ۷۲۸۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7289 — Actions And Deedsعَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ يَعْلَمُ أنَّ لِلأعْمالِ جَزاءً كَيْفَ لايُحْسِنُ عَمَلَهُ.
شگفت‌زده‌ام از کسی که می‌داند برای اعمالی پاداش است، چگونه نیکو عمل نکند؟!
I am amazed at the one who knows that there is reward for [good] deeds, how can he not make his actions righteous?!
حکمت ۷۲۹۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7290 — Actions And Deedsعَمَلُ الجاهِلِ وَبالٌ، وعِلْمُهُ ضَلالٌ.
عملِ نادان بلایی است و دانشش گمراهی.
The action of an ignorant person is a curse and his knowledge is misguidance.
حکمت ۷۲۹۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7291 — Actions And Deedsفِي العَمَلِ لِدارِ البَقاءِ إدْراكُ الفَلاحِ.
در عمل برای خانهٔ بقاء، رستگاری به دست آید.
In working for the permanent abode there is attainment of prosperity.
حکمت ۷۲۹۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7292 — Actions And Deedsفَضيلَةُ العَمَلِ اَلإخْلاصُ فيهِ.
فضیلتِ عمل، اخلاصِ در آن است.
The merit of an action is the sincerity in it.
حکمت ۷۲۹۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7293 — Actions And Deedsكُلٌّ يَحْصُدُ ما زَرَعَ، ويُجْزى بِما صَنَعَ.
هر که آنچه را که کارد درو کند و به آنچه کار کرد پاداش داده شود.
Everyone reaps what he sows and is rewarded for what he does.
حکمت ۷۲۹۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7294 — Actions And Deedsكُلُّ امْرِء يَلْقى ما عَمِلَ، ويُجْزى بِما صَنَعَ.
هر مرد با آنچه کار کرد روبه رو شود و به آنچه کرد پاداش داده شود.
Every person will face that which he did and is rewarded for that which he performs.
حکمت ۷۲۹۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7295 — Actions And Deedsكَفى بِفِعْلِ الخَيْـرِ حُسْنُ عادَة.
برای عادتِ نیکو، انجامِ نیکی بس است.
It is enough of a righteous act to have a good habit.
حکمت ۷۲۹۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7296 — Actions And Deedsكُلَّما أخْلَصْتَ عَمَلاً بَلَغْتَ مِنَ الآخِرَةِ أمَلاً.
هر بار که عملی را خالص کنی، از آخرت به آرزویی برسی.
Whenever you perform an action with sincerity, you attain something you hope for in the Hereafter.
حکمت ۷۲۹۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7297 — Actions And Deedsكَما تَدينُ تُدانُ.
چنان‌که پیمان بندهی، پیمان با تو بسته شود.
As you deal with others, so too will you be dealt with.
حکمت ۷۲۹۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7298 — Actions And Deedsلِكُلِّ عَمَل جَزاءٌ، فَاجَعَلُوا عَمَلَكُمْ لِما يَبْقى وذَرُوا ما يَفْنى.
برای هر عملی پاداشی است؛ پس عمل‌تان را برای باقی‌مانده گردانید و از فانی بگذرید.
For every action there is a reward, so let your actions be for that which remains and leave aside that which perishes.
حکمت ۷۲۹۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7299 — Actions And Deedsلِيَكُنْ أوْثَقُ الذَّخائِرِ عِنْدَكَ العَمَلَ الصَّالِحَ.
استوارترینِ توشه‌ها نزد تو عملِ صالح باشد.
Let your most reliable provisions be [your] righteous actions.
حکمت ۷۳۰۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7300 — Actions And Deedsلَنْ يَصْفُوَ العَمَلُ حَتّى يَصِحَّ العِلْمُ.
عمل هرگز خالص نمی‌شود مگر آنکه دانش درست شود.
Action will never become pure until knowledge becomes sound.
