حکمت ۷۳۴۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7341 — Actions And Deedsلا يَقِلُّ عَمَلٌ مَعَ تَقْوىً، وكيْفَ يَقِلُّ ما يُتَقَبَّلُ.
عمل همراه با تقوا هرگز اندک نشود و چگونه آن را که پذیرفته می‌شود اندک شمرند؟!
Action with God-wariness is never little, and how can something that is accepted [by Allah] be [considered] little!
حکمت ۷۳۴۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7342 — Actions And Deedsلا يَسْتَغْنِى المَرْءُ إلى حينِ مُفارَقَةِ رُوْحِهِ جَسَدَهُ عَنْ صالِحِ العَمَلِ.
آدمی تا زمانی که روح از تنش جدا نگردد، به عملِ صالح بی‌نیاز نشود.
A person cannot dispense with his need for righteous deeds until the time when his soul leaves his body.
حکمت ۷۳۴۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7343 — Actions And Deedsلا يَتْرُكُ العَمَلَ بِالعِلْمِ إلاّ مَنْ شَكَّ فِي الثَّوابِ عَلَيْهِ.
از عمل به دانش جز آن کس که به پاداشش شک دارد روی‌نمی‌گرداند.
Nobody abandons acting upon [his] knowledge except the one who is doubtful of its reward.
حکمت ۷۳۴۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7344 — Actions And Deedsلا يَعْمَلُ بِالعِلْمِ إلاّ مَنْ أيْقَنَ بِفَضْلِ الأجْرِ فيهِ.
به دانش جز آن کس که به برتریِ پاداشش یقین دارد عمل نکند.
Nobody acts upon [his] knowledge except the one who is certain about the greatness of its reward.
حکمت ۷۳۴۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7345 — Actions And Deedsلا يَسْتَغْني عامِلٌ عَنِ الاِسْتِزادَةِ مِنْ عَمَل صالِح.
هیچ عاملی به افزون‌ترکردنِ عملِ صالح بی‌نیاز نشود.
Nobody can ever dispense with his need for increasing his good deeds.
حکمت ۷۳۴۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7346 — Actions And Deedsلا خَيْرَ في عَمَل إلاّ مَعَ اليَقينِ، والوَرَعِ.
در عمل جز با یقین و پرهیزگاری نیکی نیست.
There is no good in an act except with certitude and piety.
حکمت ۷۳۴۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7347 — Actions And Deedsيَنْبَغي أنْ تَكُونَ أفْعالُ الرَّجُلِ أحْسَنَ مِنْ أقْوالِهِ ولاتَكُونَ أقْوالُهُ أحْسَنَ مِنْ أفْعالِهِ.
سزاوار است که کارهایِ مرد نیکوتر از سخنانش باشد و سخنانش نیکوتر از کارهایش نباشد.
The deeds of a person ought to be better than his words and his words should not be better than his actions.
حکمت ۷۳۴۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7348 — Actions And Deedsيُمْتَحَنُ الرَّجُلُ بِفِعْلِهِ لابِقَوْلِهِ.
مرد به کردارش آزمایش شود، نه به سخنش.
A person is tested by his actions, not by his words.
حکمت ۷۳۴۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7349 — Actions And Deedsيَقْبُحُ بِالرَّجُلِ أنْ يَقْصُرَ عَمَلُهُ عَنْ عِلْمِهِ، ويَعْجِزَ فِعْلُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ.
بر مرد زشت است که کارش از دانشش کوتاه بماند و کردارش از سخنش ناتوان باشد.
It is shameful for a person’s deeds to fall short of his knowledge and for his actions to be incapable of matching his words.
حکمت ۷۳۵۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7350 — Actions And Deedsاَلتَّارِكُ لِلْعَمَلِ غَيْرُ مُوقِن بِالثَّوابِ عَلَيْهِ.
کارِ ترک‌کننده (عمل)، به پاداشش یقین ندارد.
The one who abandons [a good] action has no certainty about its reward.
حکمت ۷۳۵۱ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7351 — Actions And Deedsمَنْ زَرَعَ شَيْئاً حَصَدَهُ.
هر که چیزی بکارد، درو کند.
One who sows something, reaps it.
حکمت ۷۳۵۲ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7352 — Actions And Deedsلِسانُ الحالِ أصْدَقُ مِنْ لِسانِ المَقالِ.
زبانِ حال راست‌گوی‌تر از زبانِ گفتار است.
The tongue of action is truer than the tongue of speech.
حکمت ۷۳۵۳ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7353 — Actions And Deedsاَلعامِلُ بِجَهْل كَالسّائِرِ عَلى غَيرِ طَرِيْق فَلا يَزيدُهُ جِدُّهُ فِي السَّـرِّ إلاّ بُعْداً عَنْ حاجَتِهِ.
عاملِ با جهل چون مسافری است بر غیرِ راه که کوششش در پیش‌رفتن جز دور شدن از حاجتش او را نیفزاید.
The one who acts with ignorance is like one who is travelling on the wrong path, so his effort in moving forward adds nothing for him but distance from his goal.
حکمت ۷۳۵۴ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7354 — Actions And Deedsأسْعَدُ النَّاسِ بِالخَيْرِ اَلعامِلُ بِهِ.
خوش‌بخت‌ترینِ مردم به نیکی، آن است که به آن عمل کند.
The person who gains the most felicity from [that which is] good is the one who acts upon it.
حکمت ۷۳۵۵ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7355 — Actions And Deedsاَلْعامِلُ بِالعِلْمِ كَالسّائِرِ عَلَى الطَّريقِ الواضِحِ.
عاملِ با دانش چون مسافری است بر راهِ روشن.
The one who acts with knowledge is like one who travels on the clear path.
حکمت ۷۳۵۶ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7356 — Actions And Deedsعامِلُ الدّينِ لِلدُّنْيا جَزاؤُهُ عِنْدَ اللّهِ النّارُ.
آن کس که دین را برای دنیا عمل کند، پاداشش نزدِ خدا آتش است.
One who acts upon religion for worldly gain, his recompense from Allah is [nothing but] hellfire.
حکمت ۷۳۵۷ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7357 — Actions And Deedsإنَّكُمْ إلى مَكارِمِ الأفْعالِ أحْوَجُ مِنْكُمْ إلى بَلاغَةِ الأقْوالِ.
همانا شما به بزرگواریِ اعمال محتاج‌تر از فصاحتِ سخنان هستید.
Verily you are more in need of honourable deeds than you are of eloquent words.
حکمت ۷۳۵۸ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7358 — Actions And Deedsثَقِّلُوا مَوازِينَكُمْ بِالعَمَلِ الصَّالِحِ.
ترازهای‌تان را به عملِ صالح سنگین کنید.
Make your weighing scales heavy with righteous acts.
حکمت ۷۳۵۹ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7359 — Actions And Deedsأفْضَلُ الأعْمالِ ما أُكرِهَتِ النُّفُوسُ عَلَيْها.
به‌ترینِ اعمال آن است که جان‌ها بدان ملزم شوند.
The best of deeds is that which people compel themselves to do.
حکمت ۷۳۶۰ — موضوع ۴۴۰ · Actions And DeedsSaying 7360 — Actions And Deedsشَـرُّ العَمَلِ ما أفْسَدْتَ بِهِ مَعادَكَ.
بدترینِ عمل آن است که با آن آخرتت را تباه کنی.
The worst act is that by which you spoil your Hereafter.
