حکمت ۷۸۸۱ تا ۷۹۰۰Sayings 7881 to 7900
إيّاكَ ومُساماةَ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ في عَظَمَتِهِ، فَإنَّ اللّهَ تَعالى يُذِلُّ كُلَّ جَبّار، وَيُهينُ كُلَّ مُخْتال.
از روی‌آوردن به خداوند سبحان در عظیمی‌اش بپرهیز، که همانا خداوند تعالی هر جبار را خوار و هر مغرور را رسوا کند.
Beware of contesting with Allah, the Glorified, in His greatness, for Allah, the Most High, abases every tyrant and belittles every boaster.
أضْيَقُ ما يَكُونُ الحَرَجُ أقْرَبُ ما يَكُونُ الفَرَجُ.
هر چه تنگی سخت‌تر شود، گشایش نزدیک‌تر است.
The more restricting [and difficult] the hardship, the closer the relief.
أقْرَبُ ما يَكُونُ الفَرَجُ عِنْدَ تَضايُقِ الأمْرِ.
نزدیک‌ترینِ گشایش، هنگامِ تنگ‌ترشدنِ کار است.
The time when relief is closest is when the affair becomes unbearable.
عِنْدَ اِنْسِدادِ الفُرَجِ تَبْدُومَطالِـعُ الفَرَجِ.
هنگامی که راه‌ها بسته شود، نشانه‌هایِ گشایش پدید آید.
When the openings [and ways] get blocked, the rays of relief begin to appear.
عِنْدَ تَناهِي الشَّدائِدِ يَكُونُ تَوَقُّعُ الفَرَجِ.
هنگامی که سختی‌ها به اوج رسد، گشایش در انتظار است.
When the difficulties reach their peak, there is hope for relief.
أوَّلُ العِبادَةِ اِنْتِظارُ الفَرَجِ بِالصَّبْرِ.
اولینِ عبادت، انتظارِ گشایش به صبر است.
The first act of worship is waiting for relief with patience.[^1]
تَوَقُّعُ الفَرَجِ إحْدىَ الراحَتَيْنِ. [^1]: ‘Waiting for the relief’ is also used to mean waiting for the reappearance of the Mahdi (‘a) as he will bring relief and justice to the oppressed believers.
انتظارِ گشایش، یکی از دو آسایش است.
Expecting relief is one of the two comforts.
كَمْ مِنْ فَرَح أفْضى بِهِ فَرَحُهُ إلى حُزْن مُخَلَّد.
چه بسیار شادمانی که شادی‌اش او را به اندوهی جاودان برساند.
How many a joyful [person] has been driven by his joy towards perpetual sorrow.
لا تَفْرَحْ بِما هُوَ آت.
به آنچه که برایت خواهد آمد شادمان مَشو.
Do not be joyful about that which is coming [to you].
لاتَفْرَحَنَّ بِسَقْطَةِ غَيْرِكَ فَإنَّكَ لاتَدْري ما يُحْدِثُ بِكَ الزَّمانُ.
به زمین‌خوردنِ غیر شادمان مشو، که همانا نمی‌دانی روزگار چه با تو می‌کند.
Never be joyful about the downfall of others for verily you do not know what time will do to you.
لاتَبْتَهِجَنَّ بِخَطاءِ غَيْرِكَ فَإنَّكَ لَنْ تَمْلِكَ الإصابَةَ أبَداً.
به خطایِ غیر شادمان مَشو، که همانا هرگز درستی را در دست نخواهی داشت.
Do not be happy with the mistake of others, for indeed you will not always be correct.
فِرُّوا إلَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ ولاتَفِرُّوا مِنْهُ فَإنَّهُ مُدْرِكُكُمْ ولَنْ تُعْجِزُوهُ.
به سوی خداوند سبحان فرار کنید و از او فرار مکنید، که همانا او شما را می‌یابد و شما او را ناتوان نخواهید ساخت.
Flee towards Allah, the Glorified, and do not flee away from Him, for indeed He will find you and you will not escape Him.
لَيْسَ كُلُّ غائِب يَؤُُوُبُ.
نه هر غایبی بازگردد.
Not everything that has gone comes back.
مَنْ غافَصَ الفُرَصَ أمِنَ الغُصَصَ.
هر که فرصت‌ها را بجوید، از اندوه‌ها در امان ماند.
One who takes advantage of [unexpected] opportunities remains safe from distress.
مَنْ وَجَدَ مَوْرِداً عَذْباً يَرْتَوي مِنْهُ فَلَمْ يَغْتَنِمْهُ يُوشِكُ أنْ يَظْمَأَ ويَطْلُبَهُ فَلا يَجِدُهُ.
هر که چشمه‌ای شیرین یافت که از آن سیراب شود و از آن نفااید، به‌زودی تشنه شود و بجویدش و نیابدش.
Whoever finds a place where sweet water enters and he can quench his thirst with it but does not take advantage of it, he will soon feel thirsty and seek it, but will not find it.
رُبَّ فائِت لايُدْرَكُ لِحاقُهُ.
بسیار از دست‌رفته‌ای که بازپس‌آوردنش ممکن نیست.
Many a lost thing is such that it cannot be regained.
رُبَّ ساع سَريع نَجا، وطالِب بَطيء رَجا.
گاه شتابنده نجات یابد و جویندهٔ آهسته تنها امیدوار باشد.
It may be that he who strives and acts quickly is saved [and succeeds] while the slow seeker [only] hopes [to attain it in the future].
عَوْدُ الفُرْصَةِ بَعيدٌ مَرامُها.
بازگشتِ فرصتِ (از دست‌رفته) دور از دسترس است.
The return of an opportunity [that is lost] is far off and unlikely.
غافِصِ الفُرْصَةَ عِنْدَ إمْكانِها فَإنَّكَ غَيْرُ مُدْرِكِها بَعْدَ فَوْتِها.
فرصت را در هنگامِ امکان بجو، که همانا پس از از دست رفتن به آن نخواهی رسید.
Seize the opportunity when it arises, for indeed you will not get it [again] after you lose it.
