از کمالِ بزرگواری، کامل‌کردنِ نعمت‌هاست.
Completing [one’s] favours is from the perfection of munificence.

حکمت ۸۷۲۱ تا ۸۷۴۰Sayings 8721 to 8740
مِنَ الكَرَمِ الوَفاءُ بِالذِّمَمِ.
از بزرگواری، وفاداری به ذمّه‌ها (پیمان‌ها) است.
Fulfilling one’s obligations [and pacts] is part of nobleness.
مِنْ أحْسَنِ الكَرَمِ الإحْسانُ إلَى المُسيئِ.
از نیکوترینِ بزرگواری، نیکی به بدکار (مسئ) است.
Doing good to the one who wrongs you is from the best [forms of] nobleness.
مِنْ عَلاماتِ الكَرَمِ تَعْجِيلُ المَثُوبَةِ.
از نشانه‌هایِ بزرگواری، شتاباندنِ پاداش (ثواب) است.
One of the signs of nobleness is hastening in [giving] reward.
مِنَ الْكَرَمِ اِصْطِناعُ المََعْرُوفِ وبَذْلُ الرِّفْدِ.
از بزرگواری، نیکی‌کردن به دیگران و بخشیدنِ یاری است.
Part of nobleness is doing good to others and granting [them] support.
مِنْ كَمالِ الكَرَمِ تَعْجيلُ المَثُوبَةِ.
از کمالِ بزرگواری، شتاباندنِ پاداش است.
From the perfection of munificence is hastening [to give] reward.
مِنَ الكَرَمِ أنْ تَتَجاوَزَ عَنِ الإسائَةِ إلَيْكَ.
از بزرگواری آن است که از بدی‌ای که به تو شده بگذری.
It is from nobleness for you to overlook the wrong that has been done to you.
نِظامُ الكَرَمِ مُوالاةُ الإحْسانِ، ومُواساةُ الإخْوانِ.
نظمِ بزرگواری، پیوسته نیکی‌کردن و یاریِ برادران است.
The order of nobleness entails successively doing good to others and assisting one’s brothers [financially].
يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى كَرَمِ الرَّجُلِ بِحُسْنِ بِشْرِهِ، وبَذْلِ بِرِّهِ.
به نیکوییِ خوشرویی و بخشیدنِ نیکی‌اش به بزرگواریِ مرد پی برد.
The nobleness of a man is evinced by his cheerfulness and his kindness [to others].
اَلْكَرِيمُ مَنْ تَجَنَّبَ المَحارِمَ وتَنَزَّهَ عَنِ العُيُوبِ.
بزرگوار آن است که از محرمات دوری و از عیب‌ها پرهیز کند.
The noble-minded person is one who keeps away from the forbidden and steers clear of [disgraceful] flaws.
اَلْكَرِيمُ مَنْ جاءَ بِالمَوْجُودِ.
بخشنده (کَریم) آن است که آنچه را که به دستش رسیده بیاورد (بخشاند).
The munificent person is one who brings [and gives away] whatever is available.
اَلْكَرِيمُ مَن جازَى الإسائَةَ بِالإحْسانِ.
بزرگوار آن است که به بدی نیکی بپردازد.
A noble-minded person is one who repays evil with good.
اَلْكَرِيمُ يَزْدَجِرُ عَمّا يَفْتَخِرُ بِهِ اللَئِيمُ.
بزرگوار، از آنچه پست‌کار بدان فخار می‌کند بازگردد.
A noble-minded person is repulsed by that which the wicked take pride in.
اَلْكَرِيمُ يَجْفُو إذا عُنِّفَ، ويَلِينُ إذَا اسْتُعْطِفَ.
بخشنده، چون تند روی آورد، دوری کند و چون نرم خویشتن را نشان داد، نرم شود.
The munificent one cuts off his favour when he is approached harshly and is soft [and kind] when he is entreated [politely]
اَلْكَريمُ إذا قَدَرَ صَفَحَ، وإذا مَلَكَ سَمَحَ، وإذا سُئِلَ أنْجَحَ.
بزرگوار، چون قدرت یابد بگذرد و چون مالک شود بخشا و چون از او خواسته شود، عطا کند.
When a noble-minded person is able [to take revenge] he forgives, and when he gains possession [of something] he grants generously, and when he is asked [for something] he accords [it].
اَلكَريمُ يَأبَى العارَ، ويُكْرِمُ الجارَ.
بزرگوار، عار را رد و همسایه را گرامی دارد.
A noble-minded person rejects disgrace and honours his neighbour.
اَلْكَريمُ يَرى مَكارِمَ أفْعالِهِ دَيْناً عَلَيْهِ يَقْضيهِ.
بزرگوار، بزرگواری‌هایِ کارهایش را دینی می‌شمارد که باید ادا کند.
A noble-minded person considers his virtuous actions as a debt that he has to repay.
اَلْكَريمُ يَرْفَعُ نَفْسَهُ في كُلِّ ما أسْداهُ عَنْ حُسْنِ المُجازاتِ.
بزرگوار، در همهٔ نیکی‌هایی که پدید می‌آورد، خویشتن را از نیکو پاسخ‌دادن (مجازات نیکو) بالا می‌دارد.
The noble-minded person raises himself above [the expectation of] rewards in everything good that he does.
اَلْكَريمُ إذَا احْتاجَ إلَيْكَ أعْفاكَ، وإذَا احْتَجْتَ إلَيْهِ كَفاكَ.
بزرگوار، چون به تو نیازمند شد، از تو بگذرد و چون تو به او نیازمند شدی، تو را بس سازد.
When a noble-minded person needs you he excuses you [from helping him] and when you need him he suffices you.
اَلْكَريمُ يَعْفُو مَعَ القُدْرَةِ، ويَعْدِلُ فِي الإمْرَةِ، ويَكُفُّ إسائَتَهُ وَيَبْذُلُ إحْسانَهُ.
بزرگوار، با قدرت بگذرد، در رهبری دادگری کند، بدی‌اش را بازدارد و نیکی‌اش را بخشا.
The noble-minded person forgives despite having the power [to exact revenge], is just in his rule, restrains his harm [from others] and bestows [favours] generously.
