حکمت ۹۰۰۱ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9001 — Important Eventsيَأْتي عَلَى النّاسِ زَمانٌ لايَبْقى مِنَ القُرْآنِ إلاّ رَسْمُهُ، ولامِنَ الإسْلامِ إلاّ اسْمُهُ، مَساجِدُهُمْ يَوْمَئِذ عامِرَةٌ مِنَ البُنى (البِناءِ)، خالِيَةٌ (خرّابٌ)عَنِ الهُدى.
بر مردم روزگاری می‌رسد که از قرآن جز نوشته‌اش و از اسلام جز نامش باقی نماند؛ مساجدشان آن روز از بنا شگفت‌انگیز و از هدایت خالی (ویران) باشد.
There will come a time upon the people when nothing of the Qur’an will remain except its written text, and nothing of Islam [will remain] but its name; on that day their masjids will be marvellously constructed buildings, but will be empty of (or desolate with regards to) guidance.
حکمت ۹۰۰۲ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9002 — Important Eventsيَأْتي عَلَى النّاسِ زَمانٌ لايُقَرَّبُ فيهِ إلاّ الماحِلُ، ولايُسْتَظْرَفُ فيهِ إلاّ الفاجِرُ، ولايُضَعَّفُ فيهِ إلاّ المُنْصِفُ، يَعُدُّونَ الصَّدَقَةَ غُرْماً، وصِلَةَ الرَّحِمِ مَنّاً، والعِبادَةَ اسْتَطالَةً عَلَى النّاسِ، ويَظْهَرُ عَلَيْهِمُ الهَوى، ويَخْفى بَيْنَهُمُ الهُدى.
بر مردم روزگاری می‌رسد که جز ماحل (بهانه‌جو) کسی را نزدیک نکنند و جز فاجر کسی را پسنده و جز منصف کسی را ناپسند نشمارند؛ صدقه را زیان، پیوندِ رحم را منّت، و عبادت را دراز کردن بر مردم شمرند. هوا بر آنان چیره و هدایت از میانِ آنان پنهان شود.
A time will come upon the people when none will be given a high position except the slanderer, none will be deemed witty except the corrupt and none will be regarded as weak but the just. People will consider charity as a loss, keeping ties with near relatives as an obligation and worship as a means of gaining superiority over people. Vain desires will overcome them and guidance will disappear from among them.
حکمت ۹۰۰۳ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9003 — Important Eventsهَدَرَ فَنيقُ الباطِلِ بَعْدَ كَظُوم، وصالَ الدَّهْرُ صِيالَ السَّبُعِ العَقُورِ.
شیطانِ باطل، پس از فروبستن، زوزه کشید و روزگار چون درندهٔ خبیث تاخت.
The camel growls after its silence, and time pounces [attacking] like a rapacious beast of prey.
حکمت ۹۰۰۴ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9004 — Important Eventsوَالَّذي فَلَقَ الحَبَّةَ، وبَرِيَ النَّسَمَةَ، لَيَظْهَرَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ قَوْمٌ، يَضْرِبُونَ الْهامَ عَلى تَأوِيلِ القُرْآنِ كَما بَدَأَكُمْ مُحَمَّدٌ عَلى تَنْزيلِهِ، ذلِكُمْ حُكْمٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمنِ عَلَيْكُمْ في آخِرِ الزَّمانِ.
به آن کس قسم که دانه را شکافت و جان را به وجود آورد، که یقیناً قومی بر شما ظاهر شوند که سرها را بر تفسیرِ قرآن بزنند چنان‌که محمد (ص) را بر تنزيلش آغازید؛ این، حکمی از جانبِ رحمان بر شما در فرجامِ زمان است.
By the One who split the seed and created humankind, there will surely come forth amongst you a community that will strike the heads on the interpretation of the Qur’an just as Muhammad (s) began [conveying to you] its revelation, this is the decree from the Most Merciful upon you in the end of days.
حکمت ۹۰۰۵ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9005 — Important Eventsلاتَقْتَحِمُوا مَا اسْتَقْبَلْتُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِ(نارِ) الفِتْنَةِ وأميطُوا عَنْ سَنَنِها، وَخَلُّوا قَصْدَ السَّبيلِ لَها.
در موج (آتش)ِ فتنه‌ای که پیشِ روی‌تان است فرو نروید و از سننِ آن کنار بروید و میانهٔ راه را برای آن خالی گذارید.
Do not plunge into the surge (or fire) of sedition that comes your way, and move away from its path while opening up the middle of the road for it [to pass].
حکمت ۹۰۰۶ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9006 — Important Eventsيَعْطِفُ الهَوى عََلَى الهُدى إذا عَطَفُوا الهُدى عَلَى الهَوى، ويَعْطِفُ الرَّأْيَ عَلَى القُرْآنِ إذا عَطَفُواالقُرآنَ عَلَى الرَّأْيِ.
هوا را به سوی هدایت بگرداند، چون مردم هدایت را به سوی هوا گردانند و رأی را به سوی قرآن بگرداند، چون قرآن را به سوی رأی گردانند.
He will direct desires towards guidance when [people] will have turned guidance towards desires, and he will turn his opinion towards the Qur’an when they turn the Qur’an towards their opinions.
حکمت ۹۰۰۷ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9007 — Important Eventsنَسِيتُمْ ما ذُكِّرْتُمْ، وأمِنْتُمْ ما حُذِّرْتُمْ فَتاهَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَأْيُكُمْ، وتَشَتَّتَ عَلَيْكُمْ أمْرُكُمْ.
آنچه پند داده شده فراموش کردید و از آنچه هشدار داده شده در امان گرفتید، پس رأیتان گمراه و کارتان پراکنده شد.
You have forgotten what you were reminded of and felt safe from that which you were warned about, so your opinion has gone astray and your affair has dispersed.
حکمت ۹۰۰۸ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9008 — Important Eventsهَلْ تَنْظُرُ (تُبْصِرُ) إلاّ فَقيراً يُكابِدُ فَقْراً، أوْ غَنِيّاً بَدَّلَ نِعَمَ اللّهِ كُفْراً، أوْ بَخيلاً اِتَّخَذَ البُخْلَ بِحَقِّ اللّهِ وَفْراً أوْ مُتَمَرِّداً، كَأنَّ بِأُذُنَيْهِ عَنْ سَماعِ (سَمْعِ المَواعِظِ) الحِكْمَةِ وَقْراً.
جز تهیدستی را می‌بینی که در تهیدستی زحمت می‌کشد، یا توانگری را که نعمت‌هایِ خدا را ناسپاسی پاداش داده، یا بخیلی که حقِ خدا را به بهانهٔ فراوانی‌اش (وفور) رد کرده، یا سرکشی را که چون در گوش‌هایش به شنیدنِ حکمت سنگ باشد (و نشنود).
Do you see (or observe) anyone other than a poor man suffering poverty, or a rich man who shows ingratitude in return for the blessings that Allah has bestowed on him, or a miser who denies the right of Allah in order to increase his wealth, or an unruly person who closes his ears [as if he is deaf] to all [wise] counsel.
حکمت ۹۰۰۹ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9009 — Important Eventsوَالَّذي بَعَثَ مُحَمَّداً صلَّى اللّه عليه وآله وسلَّم بِالحَقِّ لَتُـبَلْبَلُنَّ بَلْبَلَةً، ولَتُغَرْبَلُنَّ غَرْبَلَةً، وَلَتُساطُنَّ سَوْطَ القِدْرِ، حَتّى يَعْلُوَ أسْفَلُكُمْ أعْلاكُمْ، وأعْلاكُمْ أسْفَلَكُمْ، وَلَيَسْبِقُنَّ سابِقُونَ، كانُوا قَصَّرُوا، ولَيُقَصِّرَنَّ سابِقُونَ كانُوا سَبَقُوا.
به آن کس قسم که محمد (ص) را به حق فرستاد، که یقیناً درگشتیِ تمام (بَلبَلة) خواهید شد و گِردآوریِ کامل (غربَلة) خواهید شد و چون قاشق در قدر (کاخ‌بازاری) هم‌آمیخته شوید، تا پایین‌ترین‌هایِ شما بالا و بالاخرین پایین آید و پیش‌افتادگان که عقب مانده بودند پیش آید و پیش‌گامانی که پیش افتاده بودند عقب بمانند.
By the One who sent Muhammad (s) with the Truth, you will verily be mixed [and shaken] a complete mixing, and sifted a total sieving and fully mixed as by a ladle in a cooking pot, until those who are low from among you become high and the high ones become low, and those who have fallen behind will come forward and those who are in front will fall behind.
حکمت ۹۰۱۰ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9010 — Important Eventsاَلرَّعِيَّةُ لايُصْلِحُها إلاّ العَدْلُ.
رعیت را جز عدل اصلاح نکند.
The masses are not reformed except by justice.
حکمت ۹۰۱۱ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9011 — Important Eventsقيلَ لَهُ ـ عَلَيْهِ السّلامُ ـ: إنَّ أهْلَ الكُوفَةِ لايُصْلِحُهُمْ إلاّ السَّيْفُ، فَقالَ ـعَلَيْهِ السّلام ـ: إنْ لَمْ يُصْلِحْهُمْ إلاّ إفْسادي فَلا أصْلَحَهُمُ اللّهُ.
به او (ع) گفتند: همانا مردمِ کوفه را جز شمشیر اصلاح نکند. گفت: اگر جز نابودیِ من آنان را اصلاح نکند، خداوند آنان را اصلاح نکند!
It was said to him (‘a): Verily nothing can reform the people of Kufa except the sword. To this he (‘a) replied: If nothing but my destruction reforms them then may Allah not reform them!
حکمت ۹۰۱۲ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9012 — Important Eventsآفَةُ الرَّعِيَّةِ مُخالَفَةُ الطّاعَةِ.
آفتِ رعیت، نافرمانی (مخالفتِ فرمان‌برداری) است.
The bane of the masses is disobedience [to the rightful ruler].
حکمت ۹۰۱۳ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9013 — Important Eventsكَمْ مِنْ ذي ثَرْوَة خَطير صَيَّرَهُ الدَّهْرُ فَقيراً حَقيراً.
چه بسیار صاحبِ ثروتِ بزرگی که روزگار او را تهیدستِ خوار گردانده است.
How many an owner of great wealth has been turned into a lowly pauper by [the passage of] time.
حکمت ۹۰۱۴ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9014 — Important Eventsكَيْفَ تَبْقى عَلى حالَتِكَ والدَّهْرُ في إحالَتِكَ؟!
چگونه در حالتِ خودت بمانی، حال آنکه روزگار در دگرگون‌کردنت است؟!
How will you remain in your current state when time is [in the process of] transforming you?!
حکمت ۹۰۱۵ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9015 — Important Eventsمَنْ عَتَبَ عَلَى الدَّهْرِ طالَ مَعْتَبُهُ.
هر که بر روزگار عتب (سرزنش) کند، عتبش دراز شود.
One who blames [the vicissitudes of] time, his blame will be lengthy.
حکمت ۹۰۱۶ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9016 — Important Eventsما قالَ النّاسُ لِشَيْء طُوْبى إلاّ وَقَدْ خَبَأَ لَهُ الدَّهْرُ يَوْمَ سُوء.
مردم به چیزی «بخت‌بَرَک» نمی‌گویند مگر آنکه روزگار برای آن روزِ بدی پنهان داشته باشد.
People do not say about anything, “[what a great] blessing!” except that time has hidden a bad day for it.
حکمت ۹۰۱۷ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9017 — Important Eventsإنَّكُمْ في زَمان اَلْقائِلُ فيهِ بِالحَقِّ قَليلٌ، واللِّسانُ فيهِ عَنِ الصِّدْقِ كَليلٌ، واللاّزِمُ فيهِ لِلْحَقِّ ذَليلٌ، أهْلُهُ مُتَعَكِّفُونَ عَلَى العِصْيانِ، مُصْطَلِحُونَ عَلَى الإدْهانِ، فَتاهُمْ عارِمٌ، وشَيْخُهُمْ آثِمٌ، وعالِمُهُمْ مُنافِقٌ، وقاريهِمْ مُمارِقٌ، لايُعَظِّمُ صَغيرُهُمْ كَبيرَهُمْ، ولايَعُولُ غِنِيُّهُمْ فَقيرَهُمْ.
شما در روزگاری هستید که در آن راست‌گویان اندک و زبان‌ها از راستی خسته و پایبندان به حق خوارند؛ مردمش در نافرمانی سرگشته و بر خیانّت هم‌صدا، جوانشان طاعن و پیرش گنهکار و دانشمندش منافق و قاری‌اش مارق است. کوچک‌شان بزرگ‌شان را بزرگ نمی‌شمارد و توانگرش تهیدستش را نمی‌خواند.
Verily you are [living] in an age when those who speak about the truth are few, and tongues are weary of uttering the truth, and those who stick to the truth are humiliated. The people of this time are engaged in disobedience and make peace with each other upon treachery [and deceit]. Their youths are violent [and wicked] while their elders are sinful. Their scholars are hypocrites and their speakers are deviants. Their young do not respect the elderly and their rich do not support the poor.
حکمت ۹۰۱۸ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9018 — Important Eventsإنَّكُمْ سَتُعْرَضُونَ عَلى سَبِّي والبَرائَةِ مِنّي، فَسُبُّوني، وإيّاكُمْ والبَرائَةَ مِنّي.
شما را به بدگویی از من و برائت از من عرضه می‌دارند، پس بدگویی کنید، ولی مبادا از من برون روید.
Verily you will be faced with my vilification and repudiation, so revile me [if you must], but beware of repudiating me.
حکمت ۹۰۱۹ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9019 — Important Eventsقَدْ أصْبَحْنا في زَمان عَنُود، ودَهْر كَنُود، يُعَدُّ فيهِ المُحْسِنُ مُسيئاً، ويَزْدادُ الظّالِمُ فيهِ عُتُوّاً.
ما به روزگاری سرکش و دهری ناسپاس رسیده‌ایم که در آن نیکوکار، بدکار شمرده شود و ستمگر در آن سرکش‌تر شود.
We have come upon an age of intransigence and an era of ingratitude. In it the good-doer is counted as an evil-doer and the unjust increases in his insolence.
حکمت ۹۰۲۰ — موضوع ۵۹۳ · Important EventsSaying 9020 — Important Eventsقَدْ تَواخَي النّاسُ عَلَى الفُجُورِ، وتَهاجَرُوا عَلَى الدّينِ، وتَحابَبُوا عَلَى الكِذْبِ، وتَباغَضُوا عَلَى الصِّدْقِ.
مردم بر فجور برادر و بر دین مهاجر و بر دروغ محب و بر راستی مبغوض شوند.
The people may become brothers in wickedness and desert one another in religion, and [they may] love each other over falsehood and hate each other over the truth.
