بادِرُوا صالِحَ الأعْمالِ والخَناقُ مُهْمَلٌ والرُّوحُ مُرْسَلٌ.

بادِرْ شَبابَكَ قَبْلَ هَرَمِكَ، وصِحَّتَكَ قَبْلَ سُقْمِكَ.
جوانی‌ات را پیش از پیری‌ات و تندرستی‌ات را پیش از بیماری‌ات غنیمت شمار.
Take the initiative in your youth before your old age and in your health before your illness.
بادِرْ غِناكَ قَبْلَ فَقْرِكَ، وحَيوتَكَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِكَ.
توانگری‌ات را پیش از تهیدستی‌ات و زندگی‌ات را پیش از مرگت غنیمت شمار.
Take the initiative in your affluence before your poverty and while you are alive before your death.
بادِرُوا في مَهَلِ البَقِيَّةِ، وأنْفِ المَشيَّةِ، وانْتِظارِ التَّوبَةِ، وانْفِساخِ الحَوبَةِ.
شتاب کنید در مهلتِ باقی‌مانده و تازگیِ خواست و انتظار توبه و گشایش گناه.
Take the initiative while the rest of your life is before you, and you have the ability to act by volition[^1], and have the opportunity of repentance, and the possibility of abrogating your misdeeds.
بادِرُوا والأبْدانُ صَحيحَةٌ، والألْسُنُ مُطْلَقَةٌ، والتَّوبَةُ مَسْمُوعَةٌ، وَالأعْمالُ مَقْبُولَةٌ.
شتاب کنید آنگاه که تن‌ها سالم و زبان‌ها گویاست و توبه شنیده و عمل‌ها پذیرفته می‌شود.
Hasten to act while the bodies are healthy, the tongues are untied, the [cry of] repentance is heard and the deeds are accepted.
بادِرُوا قَبْلَ أخْذَةِ العَزيزِ المُقْتَدِرِ.
شتاب کنید پیش از آن‌که گرفتاریِ خدای عزیز توانا فرا رسد.
Hasten to act before [you are seized with] the seizing of the all-Powerful, the Omnipotent.
بادِرُوا قَبْلَ الضَّنْكِ والمَضيقِ.
شتاب کنید پیش از تنگنا و دشواری.
Hasten to act before the narrowness and constriction [of the grave].
بادِرُوا قَبْلَ الرَّوعِ والزُّهُوقِ.
شتاب کنید پیش از هول و جان‌کندن.
Hasten to act before the terror [of death] and the departure of your soul [from your body].
بادِروُا آجالَكُمْ بِأعْمالِكُمْ، وابتاعُوا ما يَبْقى لَكُمْ بِما يَزُولُ عَنْكُمْ.
با اعمالتان با اجل‌هایتان مسابقت کنید و آنچه برایتان می‌ماند را به آنچه از شما می‌رود بخرید.
Hasten towards good deeds before your deaths, and purchase what will remain for you [in the Hereafter] with what will depart from you [of this world].
بادِرُوا بِأمْوالِكُمْ قَبلَ حُلُولِ آجالِكُمْ تُزَكِّكُمْ وتُصْلِحْكُمْ وَتُزْلِفْكُمْ.
با اموالتان پیش از رسیدن اجل‌هایتان بشتابید تا پاکیزه‌تان کند و صلاحتان بخشد و [به رحمت خدا] نزدیکتان سازد.
Hasten [to do good] with your wealth before your deaths come upon you, so that it may purify you, set you aright and bring you closer [to Allah].
بادِرِ (باكِر) الطَّاعَةَ تَسْعَدْ.
به طاعت بشتاب تا سعادتمند شوی.
Hasten towards obedience [to Allah] and you will be felicitous.
بادِرِ الخَيْرَ تَرْشُدْ.
به خیر بشتاب تا راه یابی.
Hasten towards good and you will be guided.
بادِرُوا قَبْلَ قُدُومِ الغائبِ المُنْتَظَرِ.
شتاب کنید پیش از آمدنِ غایبِ منتظَر [مرگ].
Hasten [to do good] before the coming of the hidden awaited one.
بادِرُوا المَوْتَ وغَمَراتِهِ، ومَهِّدُوا لَهُ قَبْلَ حُلُولِهِ وأعِدُّوا لَهُ قَبْلَ نُزولِهِ.
با مرگ و سختی‌هایش مسابقت کنید و پیش از رسیدنش برایش بستر سازید و پیش از فرودش برایتان آماده شوید.
Anticipate death and its throes, prepare for it before its arrival and get ready for it before it descends.
بادِرُوا في فَيْنَةِ الإرْشادِ، وراحَةِ الأجسادِ، ومَهَلِ البَقِيَّةِ، وأنْفِ المَشِيَّةِ.
شتاب کنید در هنگامِ رهنمایی و آسایش تن‌ها و مهلتِ باقی‌مانده و تازگیِ خواست.
Hasten [to act] in the period of guidance and repose of the bodies, and in your remaining lifetime, and while you have the ability to act by volition.
بادِرُوا أعْمالَكُمْ، وسابِقُوا آجالَكُمْ، فَإنَّكُمْ مَدينُونَ بِما أسْلَفْتُمْ، وَمُجازَوْنَ بِما قَدَّمْتُمْ، ومُطالَبُونَ بِما خَلَّفْتُمْ.
با اعمالتان بشتابید و با اجل‌هایتان مسابقت کنید؛ چرا که به آنچه پیش فرستاده‌اید بدهکارید و به آنچه پیش کشیده‌اید پاداش می‌بینید و به آنچه وا نهاده‌اید پرسیده می‌شوید.
Hasten in performing your good deeds and compete with your deaths, for you will be compensated for what you sent forward, rewarded for what you did beforehand and held accountable for what you left behind.
بادِرُوا الأمَلَ، وسابِقُوا هُجومَ الأجَلِ، فَإنَّ النَّاسَ يُوشِكُ أنْ يَنْقَطِعَ بِهِمُ الأمَلُ، فَيَرْهَقُهُمُ الأجَلُ.
با آرزو بشتابید و با هجوم اجل مسابقت کنید؛ چرا که نزدیک است امید مردم بریده شود و اجل بر آنان دررسد.
Surpass your hope and anticipate the assault of death, for people are on the verge of having their hopes cut short and being surprised by death.
بادِرِ الفُرْصَةَ قَبْلَ أنْ تَـكُونَ غُصَّةً.
فرصت را پیش از آن‌که گلوگیر شود دریاب.
Hurry to take advantage of opportunity before it becomes [a cause of] distress.
طُوبى لِمَنْ بادَرَ صالِحَ العَمَلِ قَبْلَ أنْ تَنْقَطِعَ أسْبابُهُ.
خوشا آن که به عمل صالح شتاب کرد، پیش از آن‌که اسبابش بریده شود!
Blessed is the one who hastens to perform good deeds before his means are cut short.
طُوبى لِمَنْ بادَرَ الأجَلَ، واغْتَنَمَ المَهَلَ، وتَزَوَّدَ مِنَ العَمَلِ. [^1]: Also translated: ...at the first available opportunity when the intention is made.
خوشا آن که با اجل پیشی گرفت و مهلت را غنیمت داشت و از عمل توشه برداشت!
Blessed is he who anticipates death, takes advantage of respite and prepares the provision of good deeds [for the Hereafter].
