حکمت ۱۰۷۴۱ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10741 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلْمُتَّقي مَنِ اتَّقَى الذُّنُوبَ، والمُتَنَزِّهُ مَنْ تَنَزَّهَ عَنِ العُيُوبِ.
پرهیزگار کسی است که از گناهان پروا کند، و پاکیزه‌خو کسی است که از عیب‌ها منزه باشد.
The God-wary is one who guards against sins, and the purified is one who purifies himself of faults.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۲ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10742 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلْمُتَّقُونَ أنْفُسُهُمْ عَفِيفَةٌ، وحاجاتَهُمْ خَفِيْفَةٌ، وخَيْراتُهُمْ مَأمُولَةٌ، وَشُرُُورُهُمْ مَأمُونَةٌ.
پرهیزگاران جان‌هایی پاکدامن و نیازهایی اندک دارند؛ به خیرشان امید می‌رود و از شرّشان ایمنی است.
The God-wary are those whose souls are chaste and whose needs are few; people hope for good from them and feel secure from their evil.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۳ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10743 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلْمُتَّقُونَ أنْفُسُهُمْ قانِعَةٌ، وَشَهَواتُهُمْ مَيْتَةٌ، ووُجُوهُهُمْ مُسْتَبْشِرَةٌ، وَقُلُوبُهُمْ مَحْزُونَةٌ.
پرهیزگاران جان‌هایی قانع و شهوت‌هایی مرده دارند؛ چهره‌هایشان شادمان و دل‌هایشان اندوهناک است.
The God-wary are those whose souls are content, whose lustful desires are dead and whose faces are cheerful while their hearts are sad.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۴ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10744 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلْمُتَّقُونَ أعْمالُهُمْ زاكِيَةٌ، وأعْيُنُهُمْ باكِيَةٌ، وقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ.
پرهیزگاران کردارهایشان پاکیزه، چشمانشان اشکبار و دل‌هایشان ترسان است.
The God-wary are those whose actions are pure, whose eyes are tearful and whose hearts are fearful.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۵ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10745 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلمُتَّقي مَيْتَةٌ شَهْوَتُهُ، مَكْظُومٌ غَيْظُهُ، فِي الرَّخاءِ شَكُورٌ، وفِي المَكارِهِ صَبُورٌ.
پرهیزگار کسی است که شهوتش مرده، خشمش فرونشانده، در روزگارِ گشایش سپاسگزار، و در ناگواری‌ها شکیباست.
The God-wary person is one whose lustful desire is dead, whose anger is suppressed, and who is thankful in times of comfort and patient in times of hardships.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۶ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10746 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleإنَّ الأتْقِياءَ كُلُّ سَخِىّ، مُتَعَفِّف مُحْسِن.
همانا پرهیزگاران، همگی بخشنده، پاکدامن و نیکوکارند.
Verily the God-wary are all those [believers] who are generous, chaste and benevolent.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۷ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10747 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleإنَّ المُتَّقينَ ذَهَبُوا بِعاجِلِ الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةِ، شارَكُوا أهْلَ الدُّنْيا في دُنْياهُمْ، ولَمْ يُشارِكْهُمْ أهْلُ الدُّنْيا في آخِرَتِهِمْ.
پرهیزگاران بهرهٔ نقدِ دنیا و آخرت را برده‌اند؛ با دنیاپرستان در دنیایشان شریک شدند، اما دنیاپرستان با آنان در آخرتشان شریک نگشتند.
Verily the God-wary have taken [and gained in both] the evanescent world and the Hereafter. They have shared with the people of this world in their worldly benefits, while the people of this world shall not share with them in their Hereafter.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۸ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10748 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلْمُتَّقُونَ قُلُوبُهُمْ مَحْزُونَةٌ، وشُرُورُهُمْ مَأْمُونَةٌ.
پرهیزگاران دل‌هایشان اندوهگین و مردم از شرّشان در امانند.
The God-wary are those whose hearts are sad and from whose evil people are safe.
حکمت ۱۰۷۴۹ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10749 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleاَلمُتَّقي قانِعٌ، مُتَنَزِّهٌ، مُتَعَفِّفٌ.
پرهیزگار، قانع، منزه از گناه و پاکدامن است.
The God-wary person is content, free from sin and chaste.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۰ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10750 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleشيمَةُ الأتْقياءِ اِغْتِنامُ الْمُهْلَةِ، والتَّزَوُّدُ لِلرِّحْلَةِ.
خصلتِ پرهیزگاران، غنیمت شمردنِ مهلت و توشه‌برداشتن برای سفرِ آخرت است.
The practice of the God-wary is taking advantage of respite and preparing provisions for the [final] journey.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۱ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10751 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleقَدْ أفْلَحَ التَّقيُّ الصَّمُوتُ.
به راستی رستگار گشت پرهیزگارِ خاموش و کم‌گو.
Indeed successful is the God-wary person who [always] remains silent.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۲ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10752 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleلِلْمُتَّقي هُديً في رَشاد، وتَحَرُّجٌ عَنْ فَساد، وحِرْصٌ في إصْلاحِ مَعاد.
برای پرهیزگار هدایتی در راه راست، دوری از فساد، و اشتیاقی در اصلاحِ آخرت است.
For the God-wary person there is guidance towards the right path, restraint from corruption and [a strong] desire for reforming the Hereafter.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۳ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10753 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleلِلْمُتَّقي ثَلاثُ عَلامات: إخْلاصُ العَمَلِ، وقَصْرُ الأمَلِ، واغْتِنامُ المَهَلِ.
برای پرهیزگار سه نشانه است: اخلاص در عمل، کوتاهیِ آرزو، و غنیمت شمردنِ مهلت.
There are three signs of a God-wary person: [his] sincerity in action, [his] shortening of hopes [and aspirations] and [his] taking advantage of respite.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۴ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10754 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleلَوْ أنَّ السَّماواتِ والأرَضَ كانَتا عَلى عَبْد رَتْقاً ثُمَّ اتَّقَى اللّهَ لَجَعَلَ اللّهُ لَهُ مِنْهُما مَخْرَجاً ورَزَقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لايَحْتَسِبُ.
اگر آسمان‌ها و زمین بر بنده‌ای بسته شوند و او تقوای الهی پیشه کند، خداوند قطعاً راهی برای رهایی او از میانِ آن‌ها می‌گشاید و از جایی که گمان نمی‌برد روزی‌اش می‌دهد.
If the heavens and earth were closed upon a servant and then he became God-wary, Allah would surely make for him a way out from them and provide for him from whence he does not reckon.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۵ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10755 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنْ تَوَقّى سَلِمَ.
هر که پروا کند، سالم ماند.
One who is on his guard remains safe.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۶ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10756 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنِ اتَّقى أصْلَحَ.
هر که تقوا ورزد، آخرتش را اصلاح نماید.
One who is God-wary reforms [his Hereafter].
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۷ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10757 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنِ اتَّقَى اللّهَ وَقاهُ.
هر که از خدا پروا کند، خدا او را نگاه دارد.
Whoever fears Allah, He protects him.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۸ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10758 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنِ اتَّقى قَلْبُهُ لَمْ يَُدْخُِلْهُ الحَسَدَُ.
هر که دلش اهلِ تقوا باشد، حسد در آن راه نیابد.
One whose heart is God-wary, jealousy does not enter into it.
حکمت ۱۰۷۵۹ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10759 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنِ اتَّقى رَبَّهُ كانَ كَريماً.
هر که از پروردگارش پروا کند، بزرگوار و گرامی باشد.
Whoever fears his Lord is [indeed] honourable.
حکمت ۱۰۷۶۰ — موضوع ۶۹۷ · The God-Wary And Godfearing PeopleSaying 10760 — The God-Wary And Godfearing Peopleمَنِ اتَّقَى اللّهَ فازَ وغَنِيَ.
هر که از خدا پروا کند، رستگار و بی‌نیاز شود.
Whoever fears Allah gains success and becomes prosperous.
