مَنْ أشْعَرَ قَلْبَهُ التَّقْوى فازَ عَمَلُهُ.
هر که دلش را سرشار از تقوا سازد، کردارش به پیروزی و ثمر رسد.
Whoever fills his heart with God-wariness, his endeavour becomes successful.

مَنِ اتَّقَى اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ جعَلَ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ هَمّ فَرَجاً ومِنْ كُلِّ ضيق مَخْرَجاً.
هر که از خداوندِ سبحان پروا بدارد، برای او از هر اندوهی گشایشی و از هر تنگنایی راهِ نجاتی قرار دهد.
Whoever fears Allah, the Glorified, He dispels all worries and gives him a way out of every distress.
مَنِ اتَّقَى اللّهَ وَقاهُ.
هر که از خدا پروا کند، او را از گزندها مصون می‌دارد.
Whoever fears Allah, He protects him.
مَا اتَّقى أحَدٌ إلاّ سَهَّلَ اللّهُ مَخْرَجَهُ.
هیچ‌کس تقوا پیشه نکرد مگر آنکه خداوند راهِ خروج از گرفتاری‌ها را برایش آسان ساخت.
Nobody becomes God-wary but that Allah makes his way out [of difficulties] easy.
مُتَّقِي الْمَعْصِيَةِ كَفاعِلِ البِرِّ.
پرهیزکننده از گناه، همانندِ انجام‌دهندهٔ کارِ نیک است.
One who guards himself from sins is like the one who does good deeds.
مُلُوكُ الجَنَّةِ اَلأتْقِياءُ والمُخْلِصُونَ.
پادشاهان و سرورانِ بهشت، پرهیزگاران و مخلصانند.
The kings of Paradise are the God-wary and the sincere.
وَسيقَ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ إلَى الجَنَّةِ زُمَراً قَدْ أُمِنَ العِقابُ، وانْقَطَعَ العِتابُ، وزُحْزِحُوا عَنِ النّارِ، واطْمَئَنَّتْ بِهِمُ الدّارُ،وَ رَضُوا الْمَثْوى وَالقَرارَ.
و آنان که از پروردگارشان پروا داشتند گروه گروه به سوی بهشت رانده شوند، در حالی که از کیفر ایمن گشته، سرزنش پایان یافته، از آتش دور شده، در سرای امن آرام گرفته و به جایگاه و منزلگاهِ ابدی خشنود شده‌اند.
Those who are wary of [their duty towards] their Lord are driven to Paradise in throngs, having being saved from the chastisement, cut off from the punishment and delivered from the fire [of Hell] into the Abode of tranquillity, and they will pleased with their dwelling and residence.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ كِفايَةٌ شَريفَةٌ لِمَنِ اعْتَمَدَ عَلَيْهِ.
توکل، کفایتی شریف و گران‌بها برای تکیه‌کننده بر آن است.
Trusting in Allah is an honourable sufficiency for the one who relies upon it.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ اَلتَبَّري مِنَ الحَوْلِ والقُوَّةِ وانْتِظارُ ما يَأتي بِهِ القَدَرُ.
توکل، بیزاری جستن از حول و قوهٔ خویش و انتظار کشیدن برای مقدراتِ الهی است.
Trusting in Allah means distancing oneself from [reliance upon one’s] strength and power, and waiting for what is brought by divine decree.
إيّاكَ أنْ تَتَخَيَّرَ لِنَفْسِكَ، فَإنَّ أكْثَرَ النُّجْحِ فيما لايُحْتَسَبُ.
مبادا خود برای خویشتن راهی برگزینی، چراکه بیشترین کامیابی در اموری است که به گمان نمی‌آید.
Beware of choosing [a path] for yourself [instead of putting your trust in Allah], for indeed most of the success lies in that which is not reckoned.
أصْلُ قُوَّةِ القَلْبِ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ عَلَى اللّهِ.
ریشهٔ توانمندی و استواریِ دل، توکل بر خداوند است.
The root of the heart’s strength is in putting [one’s] trust in Allah.
إنَّ حُسْنَ التَّوَكُّلِ لَمِنْ صِدْقِ الإيقانِ.
همانا نیکوییِ توکل، برخاسته از صدق و درستیِ یقین است.
Verily the perfection of trust in Allah stems from the verity of certitude.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ كِفايَةٌ.
توکل، بسندگی و کفایت است.
Trusting in Allah is [a means of] sufficiency.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ بِضاعَةٌ.
توکل، سرمایه و کالای ارزشمند است.
Trusting in Allah is an asset.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ خَيْرُ عِماد.
توکل، بهترین تکیه‌گاه است.
Trusting in Allah is the best pillar [of support].
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ حِصْنُ الحِكْمَةِ.
توکل، دژِ استوارِ حکمت است.
Trusting in Allah is the fortress of wisdom.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ أفْضَلُ عَمَل.
توکل بر خدا، برترین عمل است.
Trusting in Allah is the best action.
اَلتَّوَكُّلُ مِنْ قُوَّةِ اليَقينِ.
توکل، از نیرومندیِ یقین سرچشمه می‌گیرد.
Trusting in Allah stems from strength of certitude.
بِحُسْنِ التَّوَكُّلِ يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى حُسْنِ الإيقانِ.
با حسنِ توکل است که بر نیکویی و درستیِ یقین استدلال می‌شود.
It is through the strength of one’s trust in Allah that the level of one’s faith is evinced.
تَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ فَإنَّهُ قَدْ تَكَفَّلَ بِكِفايَةِ المُتَوَكِّلينَ عَلَيْهِ.
بر خدای سبحان توکل کن، چراکه او کفایتِ توکل‌کنندگان بر خود را بر عهده گرفته است.
Trust in Allah the Glorified, for indeed He has guaranteed the sufficiency of those who put their trust in Him.
